Soldier of Misfortune: Preston v2 is a lore-friendly, balance-aware Fallout 4 mod that makes changes to the NPC Preston, as follows:

1.01
- Preston's racial game-balance adjusted.
- Preston now has 150 Carry Weight (100 + STR � 10; Player Carry Weight is 200 + STR � 10), before bonuses.
- Preston's carried inventory no longer contains: Flare Gun.

1.00
- Preston's hair style changed from "Heavyweight" to "Tough Enough", for a more militaristic/soldier look.
- Preston's face includes more scars and blemishes.
- Preston no longer takes fall damage.
- Preston's presence no longer affects the stealth meter.
- Preston now correctly gains the bonuses granted to companions by Live & Love Magazines. (Vanilla Bug Fix)
- Preston's racial game-balance adjusted. (Human; 10 Perks, 60 SPECIAL)
- Preston now has perks befitting a soldier. (Career Musketeer, Demolition Expert 1, Rifleman 1-3, Sneak 1-5)
- Preston's new perk, Career Musketeer, functions as Sniper 2, but affecting only laser muskets. (No scope requirement, 20% knockdown chance)
- Preston's carried inventory now contains: Combat Knife, Flare (10), Frag Grenades (3), Flare Gun (NPC-Only; Hidden), Minutemen Outfit, Stimpaks (3).
- Preston's texture lighting color changed from pearl to (none).
