Incompatible with Armorsmith Extended. I have ballistic weave installed in my Commando Helmet, and with this mod installed, it negates any of the effects made by that mod.
Thanks for adding this simple mod because I really like to see my characters face whenever I entered a conversation, so I would have to go into my pip-boy and remove my helmet but now I just favorite your combat helmet replacer and unequip helmet using the favorites menu instead of looking through my pip-boy.
Would it be possible to make a mod where some hat is invisible so u can see what the hair looks like under it? because i notice mostly as a female it changes the hair model and i would like to see what it looks like. Please and thanks.
Long answer: Sort of, but not what you're thinking at all and not using this method. What you are describing is a hat or helmet mesh that has some hair included in it. The hair is part of the hat. It's incredibly likely the hair doesn't even cover the whole head, just the part you see (like those real life hats with a fake wig, the wig starts at the edge of the hat). You could open up the hat mesh in a 3d modeling program and erase part of it, and maybe you would have a full head of hair hidden under there, maybe not. But either way, that's entirely outside the scope of what this mod is doing.
Simple, you would just remove all the armor slots from the power armor helmet except headband, just like I've done here. It would also free up your eyewear slot so you could wear glasses at the same time.
To be clear, you mean under "Biped Body Template", where it has lines like "30-Hair Top", "31-Hair Long": I delete everything but "46-Headband"? Because I tried that and it didn't work. I've compared it to your file in FO4Edit, they both look the same to me, but maybe there is something I am missing. Thank you so much for your help!
Yes, that's what I mean, the Biped Body Template section. Looking back at my mod, I did it to the Armor record and the Armor Addon record, and I can only assume I did that because it didn't work right otherwise. So try that. If it still doesn't work it might just be something different about power armor.
