There are TWO versions of this mod available (Both work with Classic and NG FO4). Packed for most users and Loose/Unpacked for the discerning user with all the mods and at/near BA2 limit. *Please note that these large load orders are much harder for me to support due to not being able to replicate your issues.
To update, use the City Manager holotape and go to Tools > Advanced Tools > Reset Building Plan Cache. You may also have to Re-register Addons from the same menu.
Highly recommend using Glitchfinder's People Live In Olivia Station mod. The whole series is amazing. If you do use it, please load it and the SS2 patch from it Below my mod or you will have issues.
6/5/25 - Version 4.5 is now up. Fixed reported CK bug (thank you Pra and Alundra!): No reported crashes, but better safe than sorry! In testing the bug fix, I noticed one of the True Tales covers was wrong and fixed it. Also opted to change the bathroom neon shelf to blue so folks would stop thinking it was a missing mesh. *You need to build the SDM plot and speak to Fred at L3 of that plot to start the quest properly. * Be on the lookout for a key during the Mystic part of the quest (hint: it's on the floor)
Past Version Notes: Version 4.0 Fixed reported issues with: Beds not recognized by SS2 at L2 and L3. They now work. You'll now need a key found during the quest to access the dungeon. Noticed some folks were able to skip quest start by accessing it early. *You need to build the SDM plot and speak to Fred at L3 of that plot to start the quest properly. And... that museum roof key - I've replaced it with something much more fun. Added a buildable vault bed (beds section) that looks nice for when plots just won't fit. Bobblehead shelf (12 fit) is under display cases. Version 3.2 Changed radio frequency to 96.75327 in hopes of fixing conflict with this mod. Includes another little radio station fix (added two songs after the DJ signs off), minor tweaks in the home no one notices but me, and now Fred will speak after the quest is over. That one was driving me nuts! Be sure to follow instructions above. This will update the radio frequency.
Version 3.1: Fixed issue where the parts of the quest would start if you went to that location. Note the radio station should only be heard if you tune into "MY Home Radio" on your pipboy or inside the player home.
3.0 Fixed issues with sound files and added both a magazine rack and bobblehead (x12) display shelf. You can build it too! Decorations\Display\Display Cases. Note that this looks the same as the beer shelf because it uses SS2s assets.
Apologies, but I'm trying to work out if the player home is bugged for me or not. Is it located in Charleston? I have a map marker pointing there to 'locate new home' but I can't work out if its this mod or another that I can't think of. There's nothing at the marker other than generic buildings I cant enter.
Yes it is! It's over right next to Bunker Hill. Look for a simple basement entrance behind a building, just like the basement ladder entrance from her old flat you visited along the way. Do you have the key from Gloria? If so, you should be fine.
Found it! For some reason the map marker wasn't showing until I manually deselected and reselected everything. I was walking past it the entire time haha.
Cozy home. Only bug I noticed is a pink mesh behind the nuka cola clock. I'll fiddle around to see whats causing it on my end :)
Fantastic mod, @MysticRogueGaming!. The plots are beautiful and I really enjoyed the quest. Thank you so much for your work. I did find one bug: Regarding the MYS Simple Bedroom Right - it counts as a home, but the bed isn't recognized, leading to the "people are complaining about the bed situation."
The left aligned plot works just fine. I really love the look of your interior plots btw. Thanks so much!
Oh no! That hasn't happened to me. Did you try picking it up and dropping it back down? Sometimes that fixes that for some plots. And thank you. Means a lot.
It should be fine. No reports of any issues so far. I might save your game when you're in a bunker or other interior cell - install the mod and then start. Keep in mind the quest won't begin until the Super Duper Mart plot is at L3.
I imagine one could use openactorcontainer 1 to open the npc's inventory give them a different outfit for them to equip it...then take the red outfit for yourself. At that point you would have the item id to clone it then give it back to said npc. Seems convoluted but since Mystic didn't say "oh here is the outfit id to spawn your own, it's the only way i can think to try to get it for yourself.
Would be cool to add it to that feature in SS2 with the guy from Fallon's that lets you take pics of unique outfits and then he crafts them for sale.
Just an fyi, it seems your characters don't get along with x-cell. The mod runs perfectly and the quest is fun. it just took me far too long to figure out why your people didn't have any heads, lol.
Thanks! It's the same as the beds in the 1x1 plots with a new blanket. I often mix vanilla beds and plots. The downside is losing the stats with plots. But sometimes there just isn't space for a plot. A settler will use the bed if it's there. They just choose plots first. Think of those small, skinny rooms in the Sanctuary houses, or putting a bed in a mobile home. I like having the option. I still almost always have 100% happiness in my settlements.
I don't use auto-assignment to plots and I build settlements from zero with my hands, so there is always enough space) I just thought that the NPS would be considered unemployed on a vanilla bed and would not raise the level of his workplace. P.S. It would be great if you made a small interior section on the base of this bed.
Gotcha. Naw, the settlers assign to any bed and a job, so not considered unemployed. I won't be finessing the bed. There are so many good options out there for that. I just wanted to include a variation for those who wanted to keep the aesthetic.
Broken? Any idea how? Did you add mods? I truly love that it's your fav!! I keep thinking how fun it would be to extend that someday.
First thought is to try to put my mod lower in your load order and see if that fixes it?
Edit: Took a look and am thinking you updated the mod and then lost the radio? Since I changed the radio frequency to avoid reported conflicts, you'll want to use the City Manager holotape and go to Tools > Advanced Tools > Reset Building Plan Cache. You may also have to Reregister Addons from the same menu.
Already in dev on a whole new quest mod based on this one. Injury has me on pause. But I may come back to this to add a few plots as I get back into modding.
found a little error in quest processing. MYS_SDMquest_GloriaRescue. its got a bad reference for a chat scene. Looking through her records, it looks like record xx027C5C should be referenced here, instead of xx0c67cd... unless mine downloaded wrong.
I also found a few issues with the usafsatellite cell, but changing the wall and door references to persistent instead of visible when distant fixed it.

You have also set a new high bar for acknowledgement sections.

I was a little disappointed that the unique red outfit and hat aren't obtainable. I would have loved to throw those on a settler.
