Version 1.0
Initial Release
The latest update to The Fens Sheriff's Department has K9s - they look great, but I'd like my Dogmeat to be different from them.
To fix this, I made a copy of the Dogmeat model that only the player's dog uses. I know there's a more convenient alternative, but I don't need a billion replacers for my dog.
Usage Install my esp under all mods that change the Dogmeat entry. If necessary, use my patch or make your own.
For mesh replacers like Cyberdog — put dogmeat.nif to meshes\actors\dogmeat\CharacterAssets\unique
For texture replacers like khake's mods — put all textures to Textures\Actors\Dogmeat\Unique
I haven't seen texture replacers touch _n and _s, so my materials have vanilla paths. Only _d is changed.
Conflicts The mod will conflict with any mod that changes the Dogmeat entry. A few patches I made myself, but, there are so many mods on Dogmeat and I can't do this for all of Nexus.
Fortunately, only one entry will conflict - you can probably solve your personal conflict on your own.
