i don't normally get bad fps in this location, but if there are a bunch of these in the world like say in deep Boston, i would love for them to go missing from the game forever lol, that part of the city is such a s#*! show.
I was dropping 44 FPS staring at this building, but I'm on a 4050 Laptop, I look away & I'm around 66~90fps vs 22. Fast Travel to the place turn directly around & tanked FPS.
agreed i can maintain 120 fps anywhere outside of boston/Bunker hill so id love to see if this kinda craps infested boston hopefully 1 day we can get all these fixs in one mod
true, bunker hill is also a s#*! show. like it really makes me wonder why bethesda couldn't space locations apart more, something anything to keep the games crippling low fps handled correctly.
i never use that location for a settlement, it's simply too laggy, i once attempted to remove items in the location via a scrap everything mod thinking it would improve the performance, and it pretty much did nothing, so it was pointless to even make an attempt, but it does make me wonder if these things are just everywhere on the map, maybe it's too big of a job for a single dude, but idk, i just hate that this game is soo bogged down to hell, like i swear i'm using every mod in existence to improve this games performance issues and though the mods do help, almost none of them even touch on the low fps in Boston or Bunker Hill locations, it's just so damn heavy.
like i know the next gen update was supposed to fix this issue, but man, they really screwed that update didn't they, i'm still on the old version because i don't trust the update next gen, to many people are complaining about this every day now on steam.
i have played with it off and on, it makes literally no difference, except in some locations, like sanctuary or the more open space locations, the big city settlements like hangman's alley and bunker hill it's always a s#*! show, even Jamaica plain is a pain, most other locations in this game i get from 70 to 100fps everywhere else, because it's more spread out and there are less objects that cause issues.
but yeah, hangman's alley, Jamaica plain, and bunker hill are always bad performance, it's usually hanging around 40fps without objects, but with objects it often dips down to 20 or 30fps, it's really bad.
well you are on a 3050, of course you don't have any issues lol, i however am still using a GTX card, still it's supposed to be more than enough for this game to get good performance given my specs and all the performance mods i have.
Most of the games performance is tied to single core performance and nothing else NOT your gpu ... more L3 cache is the way to go. If you remove just one object from a precombined cluster your fucked anyway.
yeah i know all about the precombined stuff, i pretty much stay away from mods that do that, it's so weird, i don't remember skyrim having this issue, i wonder if this was just a diffrent method in FO4 and idk why they chose to use that idea in this game to begin with anyway, but most of the time when in deep Boston i get from 30fps to 20fps, but most other areas of the game i get 40 to 90fps, when i'm outside of the city is where i get good performance, but in the city, it's always a struggle in FO4.
Most of the Hemi lights are leftovers from previous lighting experiments it seems. Thos lights if not attached to a AttachRef do not have any use most certainly. Hemi's were often swapped by Spot lights, eventhough when not overloaded, they can be very handy for head lamps.

At first I thought they might have something to do with the BOS Ship that appears here at night or something.
