You got it absolutely right. I will not be replacing any more light bulbs. I had such plans initially, however after I shared this mod on the Nexus, I received a huge amount of hate, insults, statements that I am to blame for Bethesda's problems and that I should spend my time and effort to fix Bethesda's mistakes. I also received tons of other extremely negative and very toxic comments (I deleted them all). For this reason, I will no longer maintain this mod, I will not replace any more light bulbs, I will not support and develop this mod anymore, because all these toxic, angry and aggressive comments destroyed my desire to work on this mod.
There were way more of these idiots than normal people who wrote positive reviews about this mod. For every positive review I got 2-3 negative, toxic, accusatory comments. And I still get these negative comments (however, I delete them immediately). That's why I don't want to develop and maintain this mod anymore. Doesn't matter. Anyway, thank you for your positive feedback. I really appreciate it.
I would of never guessed a mesh replacer mod would get hate. Dont let em get to you. Ignore them. They mad they cant make shit. Keep doing what your doing and pumping out these awesome mods.
No. I've already looked at this mod. It's completely useless in my situation. At the moment I can't figure out why my glass textures are invisible in trade mode. 😕
i have maybe a silly request, i wonder if you can make a throwable object that creates light, like the minutemen flairs but not a flair, i was thinking they could be lights in the form of a grenade, but not a grenade where they blow up, more like a light that stays light for a while like they were powered by fusion cells or something, just an odd idea i thought about.
It is impossible for me to do what you are talking about. To do this, I need to make animations and scripts and be able to change the lighting. I only work with static 3D models, I don't know anything about how to change the lighting, create scripts and animations.
use "Air" Gun shot it to sky you have light or use white throwing version especialy good to give it to companions and they will light every enemy out there :D
There's a mod called "Glowsticks redux". You craft glowsticks in the chemstation, equip them and throw them like grenades. They light up pretty good and last i think 5 minutes. They work just like you described. Here's the link: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21965
There's also another mod called "Road flares". Same as Glowsticks, but these are roadflares so they don't last as long and creates a bit of smoke. The link: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11605
In order to share links to other people's mods with each other, please use private messages. The pages (comments section) of my personal mods are not the right place to advertise and link to other authors' work that is not related to my mod. I will remove all extraneous links from my pages.
Sorry, but I can't answer this question because I made a mash-up for myself from many different mods from other authors (such as NMС, Lucid's, etc.). I went through a huge number of textures from these mods, and created a mash-up to my taste. It was a long time ago, and the ruined house interior on my screenshot contains textures from different mods, from different authors, so I can't answer your question.
This mod is not a lighting mod. It's a re-mesh (re-model) + transparent glass for replace a vanilla light bulb. I just created my new, better looking light bulb model in Blender and made my own textures with transparent glass for it. I didn't edit the lighting or make any changes to the original Bethesda lighting settings. For this reason, my light bulb uses the same lighting as the vanilla one.
I know that it's just a re-mesh and I love it! I just can't help but always see it's thumbnail and think it's a new relighting mod before I do a double take.
