    Tales from the Commonwealth:
Just a reminder I will not be providing support or visiting/replying to comments on this page, because it's easier for me to manage all my mods from a single website, one that also happens to have a mini-wiki that will answer many basic questions for you.

    Wiki for TFTC
Here you will find info on quests and companions as well as random NPC encounters. It is also recommended you play the Fallout 3 Mods (bundle download from the header) for additional backstory on NPCs, in particular companions Audrey and R4-04.

    The Built-In Quest/Location Finder:
You don't need to rely on the wiki, however, or random chance. There is an easy way to find many of the quests and locations in the mod (although not all of them). It's by completing the short, You've Got Mail quest by visiting the post office in Nahant. The reward you get for completing it will put many other locations on your map.

Bug Report, Troubleshooting, and General Help Section
Any bug reports or troubleshooting questions should be searched for before being asked. If your question is new or you can't find an appropriate answer in the database (or the wiki) then feel free to ask a new one. I will get an email notification and answer within 24 hours.

    Notes on Atomic Radio:
I had to take down the file with custom music, will upload a safe version with only vanilla music, to add your custom tracks, you'll need to enable loose files and add tracks 01.wav, 02.wav, all the way to 44.wav (or 01.xwm if WAV isn't working for you) to this folder:

    Data\Sound\fx\mus\radio\atomicradio\FM\

***If you want to download the version with custom music added, you have to go to, you guessed it, http://3dnpc.com.***

    Twitter:
If you like, you can follow me on twitter here. Nothing to do with mods though. I'll also be posting some trailers and content on my Patreon page.

So I spent the past 3 or 4 months dicking around in Unity and I made a small indie game.

Heavy dialogue options, multiple endings, and choices throughout. Basically if you like TFTC you might enjoy this as well.

When I looked at the page, the download appeared, as well as connecting apps to click on.

That is the hat you can obtain in the time-traveling Kill Hitler simulation from Thuggysmurf's Outcasts and Remnants mod.

Audrey seemed the only NPC able to pull off that look without sending a negative political message.

Haven't tried Next-Gen yet, to anyone who did, any issues with Audrey and Zhen quest and Hallows Eve new quest at the harbormaster hotel?

Dumb question, I am new to Fallout 4 and just wondering if I should be installing all 4 files for the full experience?

has anyone tried to install this on top of Welcome to paradise?

Tales and its DLC support is a huge multi-quest mod.
Atomic Radio is a radio mod and the version that you can download from 3DNPC.com gives you the most music.
Settlers of the Commonwealth lets you recruit some interesting settlers for your settlements.

No idea how this would work with Welcome to Paradise, but since it requires Wabajack, a huge mod list can lead to mod conflicts.

If you are uninterested in companion perks or quests, don't engage with them.   If they are following, send them to a settlement.

I installed the radio mod by itself with none of the other quest or settlement addons for this mod, I mostly just wanted a channel with some additional songs to listen to while playing the game. As I listen to atomic radio there is a massive overabundance of these fan made commercials that play which are incredibly annoying and distracting to listen to. I didn't expect this radio station to mostly play these psas and ridiculous talk show radio blabber, i guess its my fault for not looking more closely at the mod but seriously who wants to listen to this? some of them are super weird aswell like this commercial about this high school girl who has sex with a bunch of students and no one likes her or something... its just really weird lmao. overall just wondering if this is safe to uninstall and if not then i guess ill keep it installed but dang i guess i respect the time an effort that went into creating all these but its just not for me.

The premise of Fallout is that it was a futuristic throwback to a previous time. Kris tailored the announcements, news, and radio dramas to that past era.  Many new players are unaware of this lore.  Sounds like you would be better off listening to TicTok.

What is the mod "DLC Commentary for TFTC v2.5 and up" doing?

    I don't understand.
    Thanx for any reply!
    Best regards.

It allows R4-04, Audrey, and Birdie to have dialogue in the DLCs and it contains one of Birdie's quests.

That makes more sense... i thought it was like your commentary on the mod, or the DLC. completely skipped this because of it and only came back because a patch asked for it. May not hurt to clarify the description a little better. Thanks to everyone who worked on this you guys did a great job.

I seem to have run into a bug with the "Under the Bridge" quest from Audrey. When we get to the Tremont Street Speakeasy, Audrey exchanges a few ominous words with Margaret (?), and then...nothing. They both just stand there staring at each other. If I 'activate' Audrey, I just get some feedback that 'this individual is busy.' Is this a known problem? Should I just use a console command to move the quest forward?

I am having an issue where all subtitles in and in the immediate vicinity around the Boston Bordello disappear almost immediately. As I am hearing impaired I am missing a lot of the dialogue is there any way to fix this? Thanks.
