Hey, I was making a Fallout Vermont Mod! Only it was for the pen & Paper RPG by Modiphius! (or for other PnP TTrpg systems) I've just created over 5 unique major factions, about 10 seperate communities. prewar backstory, local conflicts, politics and the waterway trade route from Ronto & Montreal to Nukaworld thru vermont. My project (like yours) is a fan build, but i was hoping to bring it to the TTRPG world with as many resources for play as possible. Would it be possible to use your map for players as a visual guide (viewed thru Fallout 4) or modded for a VTT? (Virtual table top)
I'm doing it as a Pen & paper game because my lore, campaigns, locations, factions etc are far too detailed for one person to code as a mod in my lifetime, but I'd be happy to collaborate with someone else to expand on its potential
If youre interested in another version of Vermont with the trade routes of Lake Champain, (freemarket & the Roga) that link the Ronto trade federation, the refineries of Montreal and down to Nukaworld and Boston, the ruins of Numont and the burningdown, the Indentured servitude of prewar autoprisons, the machinegod of thje proto- transhumans, the suffocating dickensian crush of the Flock - all waiting the open day of the academia of the stars at U-City, then comment below!
either way, thanks for your service to the modding community (and for the post apocalyptic survivors of freemont)
Really impressive mod trying to do something similar but don't no how to set up boundaries so one one can go further than the land itself if you could please just point me in the right direction it would be amazing thank you for your work
There is a mod for FO London called Bromley house or something like that. It puts a townhouse in Bromley that includes an entrance into the main FO4 game. It works perfectly with the following caveats that I'm aware of at this point:
1) The map shows the physical London map, however all fast travel markers/locations are present and in their correct locations. 2) Leveled lists and enemies default to the London equivalents 3) Any mods for FO4 will have to be for the same pre-nextgen update as FO London. This means that many quality of life mods may be unavailable (the current lack of assorted Baka mods is a good example)
Just saw this....Very cool looking location... I might base a multi-settlement mod on it if its large enough ...I havent tried it out yet but im getting some great vibes from this... Thank you for your effort and contribution.... KUDOS...
I loved the mod so far, and new lands are more than welcome: patrolling the same spots in the commonwealth is kinda boring after some time (i mean, you almost remember all spawn spots, thanks to SKK stalker that add some varialbes...).
A new forest map is very welcome on my side, instead of huge settlemets, just a few villages and a lot of wild. Lovely. Thing is, i believe it lacks of detail. Let me explain: it's fun to explore once, but after you move out, there's hardly a reason to go back there. The back story is cool, but having standing NPC doing "nothing", many houses that are basically the same house copied one next to another, the grass inside the petrol stations... many missing details that make you say "this can be much more".
so said, I have never attempted to create a worldspace, and have no idea of the time and the trial and error it might take. so thanks for your time and for the few hours of "finally something new to explore" that you gave us... for free ;)
I add SKK's stuff, NPC's Travel, Zombie Walkers, Unleveled Encounters and Real AI Untethered. Set everything to max spawn, never gets boring now. I'm gunna try this mod too.

I suggest making proper Ba2 archives from within CK... so installing for some isnt an issue...(loose files)..
