This project was done to extend immersion and to finally lay the foundation for perfect cell alignment.

Preface

This mod was made to set the foundation for Real Windows, which uses and requires a North Marker to allow the LOD to snap to the exact coordinates to the interior cells, since many interiors have wrong orientation by default/vanilla or miss any North Marker.

In order to do so i used a simple and fast technique, since the North Marker cannot placed in an exterior worldspace,

1) Placed a static object next to the entrance, once dragged into the render window the CK will drop default coordinates of 0,0,0 making the marker point perfectly to the north,
2) Duplicate the door frame and moved both into an interior cell,
3) Set snap to reference to the interior door,
4) Turned the exterior frame and static object to align to the interior door,
5) Delete the exterior door frame and replaced the static object with the North Marker.

Result: perfect .xxxx alignment.

Overview

This mod fixes a myriad of wrong aligned or missing North Marker which cause the compass needle to point to the wrong direction when transitioning from the exterior to interior worldspace. More than 180 interiors do not have North Markers.

Installation

This mod can be in/-uninstalled anytime.

The plugin is ESL-flagged, don't count against normal ESP/ESM limit.

This mod does not affect precombined meshes or PreVis data.

Compatibility

Make sure to load the mod right after UFO4P,  very early in your load order. You can also load it before UFO4P. The file is flagged ESM for maximum compatibility.
