Okay. Big question. I found out the main point lookout mod doesn't play well with the next gen update creations. I see you said updating this mid game is a no no. Will it really wreck my save beyond repair?

You can install this mod mid game, but you shouldn't uninstall it after your save was using it. I don't have the next-gen version, so I can't test if all plays well with it. Others have mentioned that this mod runs fine on next-gen.

    A compat note.

The advice to put other Point Lookout mods before this fix plugin has an exception if you are using the PRP compat patch that rebuilt the precombines for the mod, due to the location of where the precombine/previs information lives.

tl;dr: PRP-Compat-PointLookout goes AFTER the mod downloaded from here, or else previs will likely go wonky.

This mod changes some interior cells, so yes, if another mod changes the same cells, it will conflict. However, if you load PRP after this mod, you will lose the audio crash fixes, unless you merge them to PRP, because those fixes are in the cell headers.

That's something I'll have to address when I get around to updating the generation, then.

Finally got around to doing conflict resolution, updated the patch's cell headers to match. I don't know how the heck they missed setting that flag on the interiors.

Edit: Also, 00DCDLC04WorkshopInterior is not previs safe with this mod installed (xx01C6B2/B8 are disabled and are precombined, future patch generations need to take this mod into account to mitigate this)

Idk if it's this mod or not, or if it's an issue with the base mod, but I noticed that the Velvet Curtain quest can be started again after finishing it and going back to the Motel and asking for extraction details again.

This seems to be an old bug. It's also mentioned in the Point Lookout bug section. I can check if I can reproduce it and then fix it.

Might be just what I needed. I never really cared about PL because it was kind of heavy on the bug department.

Actually, I was surprised how well PL played for me. I never played it before, only recently on version 1.14 and the bugs/missing things that I encountered there, are fixed/added in this mod. Bethesda's own DLCs "Nuka World", "Mechanist" and "Far Harbor" each had far more bugs than PL, at least from my experience and some serious bugs are not fixed to this date, even with UFO4P.

Hey, just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping out with these bug fixes! As one of the folks who helped with the mod it always made me sad I didn't have the know-how to iron out some of these issues. I'd be happy to lend a hand generating the lip files for you :)

It would be great if you could provide the lip files or update the fuz files with the lip data. As far as I know, they have to be generated with the Creation Kit and I don't have access to that. Bethesda doesn't really like us GOG customers...

Eh, the GOG version is still recent, there might be a solution in the future for you guys! But for now, I'll get out - I'll get you the files by this afternoon :)

as long as you have the steam client you can get creation kit for free, and as far as i know you don't need fo4 on steam to use it. just drop the ck files into gog fo4 folder and you should be able to use it.

Ty for this mod. I have a question though...

I have done the quest to get the head scar but then I used Cheat Terminal to fast travel back to the Commonwealth. What line of console command do I use to travel back to Point Lookout? Because the boat is not available for me anymore.

It depends on where you want to go. You can use "player.moveto x" command, where x must be a reference.
I think Panada is a good choice. She is at the docks, so you have probably met her already.
