I'll leave the initial question in case someone else wanders in here to ask .. after some reading and research (didn't take long) I answered my own question .. Yes it's required for your mod .. and Yes it will screw up a bunch of other mods .. fyi ..
Question .. Do I seriously need the Vault Suit requirement?? .. Just worried it's going to screw up the other Vault Suits/Mods that affect Vault Suits I already have installed (an finally have working together with no "issues") .. otherwise this looks like a great mod that will solve a problem and make life a bunch easier.
Just not willing to slam dunk this run-through in progress .. I have not started the AR2 quest (yet) .. but I am well over 100 hours into this run and just getting ready to start up the Fens SD Bleachers Mod .. yeah .. I have a bunch of "extended play" mods (finally) working together and playing nice .. addmittedly, 100 hours is a drop in the bucket to the 3k+ hours I have totalled between Steam and GOG versions .. lol .. but still .. don't want to rebuild all of the setlements ..
I still have this unreleased mod for Lima Detachment's Vault. It marks the vault dwellers as pure humans and disconnects them from the Enclave faction lists.
You'll see one standing next to a truck when you go from Greygarden to the water treatment plant.
You'll also pass close to that spot when you go with Danse to Arcjet. It is somewhat close to the point you take a right turn and encounter bloatflies (and later mongrels). Don't turn right, you'll see the truck I mentioned before.
Haha niche mod, but I'm glad you made this. I had this same thought when I nabbed one of these guys and was miffed they weren't being recognized as pure strain.
