Version 1.3 has been released, replacing the clean pre-war textures with ones more appropriate to the wasteland. It also fixes an issue where houses would not correctly be marked as repairable. This only works for new installations - you'll still have to use the shoot/punch workaround to put existing houses into their destroyed state.

Please post your load order if you are having issues.

This mod works fine, IF you follow these steps. I just tested it again with Nuka world installed, and I'm reaching the upper limits of max mods loaded as well. It works. All houses are repairable as is the bridge, but you must do these operations to get it to work properly.

First up, don't use spring cleaning. Use scrap everything. Have scrap everything loaded after this mod (and done so properly).
Second, make sure you have plenty of supplies to build all of the houses in one go. Not sure what happens if you leave the worldspace cell with only a few houses repaired.

Follow these steps after you've verified the above.
      1. Make sure you're in Sanctuary and that Repair Sanctuary is in your load order, before any scrapping mods, not after.
      2. Save and exit.
      3. Disable Repair Sanctuary.esp, BUT DON'T uninstall it.
      4. Load your game. Ignore the missing esp warning.
      5. Save and exit.
      6. Re-enable Repair Sanctuary.esp
      7. Load your game.
      8. The homes and bridge now have the Repair option. Have fun.

IF you repair a home and nothing happens, don't freak out. Exit the workshop, shoot the home or bridge a couple of times, then open the workshop again. You'll be able to repair the home or bridge.

This does work. I've verified it numerous times with all manner of load orders and mods. If you uninstall this mod mid game, well, obviously it's going to screw things up. So...don't.

to anyone who could not get this mod to work properly and uninstalled and ended up with no walls and floating objects,
you can undelete the walls that disappeared by entering their id, a period and the word enable, ex. 00022bd8.enable
to find the ids for houses have a new save run against the wall then click it while in console and type disable, if wall disappears that is the id for the particular house's wall.
    hope this helps.

Thank you! You are the MVP. I was so frustrated with this mod. I couldn't even revert back to an old save because I was playing survival mode.

But your tip work well. Again, thank you.

Get Your Walls (and Bridge) Back!

Thanks again Stahlchild fo the tip, you're a true gent and a scholar. Adding into here to help make life more easier:

      1. Copy and paste the text below into a new .txt file:

      22224.enable
      22bef.enable
      22be9.enable
      2a65f.enable
      22bec.enable
      29bad.enable
      1f970.enable
      22c0d.enable
      3fed6.enable
      22bd8.enable
      22c0b.enable

      2. Save this .txt file into the installation directory i.e. Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4

      3. Name this however you like i.e. walls

      4. Load your save, open the console ( by pressing ' ), and then type "bat walls" (without quotes) and this should bring back what this mOd AuThOr 🥴 broke.

Thanks putokmonai It worked. Unfortunately, not all of the parts were restored, so it seems that the game needs more parts in that txt file. :(

If anyone has this issue, I needed to add one more line:

22bd9.enable was the one that brought my house walls back.

You should have known better.   This was made in the very earliest days of 2016, long before the effects of disabling precombines were fully understood.   I mean think about it - it recommends Spring Cleaning.....

      Reading really is fundamental.   :D

Regarding flickering, we simply disassemble that part in our workshop.

Hello! I need some help! Parts of the roads and the floors of the houses are phasing in and out of existence! Anyone else have this issue and then fix it? Let me know please!

I don't know why this mod won't work for me. I have Repairable Sanctuary and Spring cleaning. I don't get a prompt to repair by pressing E. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I thought maybe another mod is clashing with Repairable Sanctuary, but Vortex says everything is working fine.

cool concept, but reading how it literally damages your game stopped me from trying it. hopefully this can be implemented in a better way in the future

After a week of using this mod with no issues I suddenly have houses I disabled meshing into things I've already built, the walls on the repaired homes are shimmering, and everything that's been scrapped in the repaired houses is back and unselectable. Don't suppose anyone else has run into this and found a workaround? I really don't want to think the progress I've made in Sanctuary is gone.

I know many people have had problems with this mod, but it has worked fine for me. However, after restoring all of the houses I decided I want to get rid of one of them using the scrap everything mod and sure, I know people say not to use scrap everything because it breaks precombines and stuff, but so far I have had no issues. But after restoring the houses using repairable sanctuary I can't scrap them with scrap everything. Is there a way to remove a house that this mod added? Maybe something in the console commands?

In case anyone is wondering the same thing as me, open up the console, select the house you want gone and type Disable, then it goes away.
