How did you retexture the hazmat suit especially the visor part? I use gimp for retextures, but found that the visor for the hazmat helmet is transparent image, but not ingame
it's been a while since i worked on this mod, so i don't remember exact specifics, but the helmet texture uses a cubemap to create the shiny visor in the base game. for whatever reason, in the material file for the hazmat helmet (which is separate from the mesh and textures), the number values for the cubemap's effectiveness are way overblown, so i believe the visor texture is mostly transparent so that the base game's silver visor isn't too shiny. i think when i tried changing the texture initially, i found that the vanilla cubemap took over completely. the fix for this was to go into that material file, turn the numbers down, and then edit the helmet to my liking. if you're not using it already, you'll need material editor to make shader changes like this
