Hi Dak, this is one of my favorite weapon mods. In my playthroughs, I always stick with the Minutemen, and Freedom Fighter is my usual choice of weapon when I have to defend the Castle. It just seems really fitting for the leader of the Minutemen to rally his troops with a weapon like that.
I just wanted to make a humble update request. Would it be possible to reverse the flag paintjob on Freedom Fighter? It's both military and civil tradition for the stars on the flag to be oriented such that they appear to be moving forward in the direction of whatever the flag is printed on, as if the flag were being carried on a pole. It's the reason that flags are reversed when worn on the right shoulder of military uniforms, or when on the right side of space shuttles, aircraft, or other vehicles.
Anyway, many thanks to you, Pig, and the CSEP team for all the great mods and hard work you guys do.
Hi CSEPTeam, Dak Im getting this weird bug where switching weapons, my screen freezes, audio keeps playing, and i have to CTRL ALT DELETE to save my ears. https://youtu.be/w8W599_GLDk @ 1 min 38 seconds
any advice would be much appreciated, I have spent 2 weeks trying to fix this :-(
You don't know what I'm on about... I was stating if the Hyde 30 carbine is accurate/real and it seems likely not... It's just a mixture of some world war 2 realistic weapons just what bethesda do like the R-91 from fallout 3 is a Fal. So yeah!!! I will use this mod.
The M1944 Hyde Carbine was developed by George Hyde, designed to be a light rifle for the US Armed Forces. The overall weapon was based on the Thompson Submachine Gun, which Hyde drew inspiration from in many of his weapon designs. An original .30 Carbine based on the M1921/27 variants worked well. However, due to the rising production during World War II, the initial design was too expensive for mass production, and its weight defied the concept of a 'Light Rifle'.[1] The M1944 Hyde Carbine came with a quick barrel change device similar to the MG42.[2] It used pressed steel components to ease production and reduce weight, making it versatile, reliable, and easier to carry.
I love it! A classic automatic carbine prototype from the WW2 era! its nice to see interesting looking carbine and short rifles that have unique design language and wooden furniture as opposed to the glut of plastic and carbon fiber assault rifles that are so popular in the weapon mod scene. If you continue making awesome mods like this, I feel obligated to suggest either the Sieg Bullpup rifle, or the Johnson Machine Gun (its like an FG-42 but not as overhyped)
It may be noted that in the strictest sense, 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse, plastic and carbon fiber would be nonexistant. Steel and wood, on the other hand, would be readily available.
That being said, I'm a gun guy. Fo4 mods - like this one - let me play with arms I would never have access to ordinarily. Or that flat-out don't exist. Ok, it's virtual, but you take what you can get.
please make some starfeild guns you can change the game fallout has so many guns i cannot decide anymore, great work to bad the mods dont simply port over easy.

Just tiny handful sold in vendors. Including CW.
Or maybe i am not looking in right vendors.
EDIT: It seems to be Munition's wonky ammo distribution fault (BTW. I used the default not the Reduced ammo option)
