    Can you make a version that doesnt need the burst fire mod or can you makje one without the burst fire mod for the musket? This mod sounds so fun but The burst mod crashes my game :(

    Greetings! I am making a mod and part of it uses a nifbashed laser musket I spliced together to fit the setting better in my mod. I was wondering if I may use these as a resource, as I've been trying my hardest to modify the crank part of it, seeing as you figured it out. It would be greatly appreciated if I may use this! Also do you know how to change the red glow in the charging chamber?? I cant figure that out for the life of me.

      It actually doesn't need tactical reload, because it already recycles unemptied Energy cells back into your inventory that will get reloaded into the gun after all your full energy cells are used first.

      Well damn... Idk the cause of not being able to crank laser musket. :\
      But if that's the intention then that's ok with me.

      Only the single shot (vanilla) cranks require the crank per shot bc of how bethesda implemented the reload. I would have required it for the burst fire if I could have.

      Even if it's on standard capacitor modification? Actually forget I questioned that. It's gonna be a pain to understand anyway if I can't crank the laser musket when it's on standard capacitor. Oh well.

      lol it should crank on the standard capacitor, unless you've run out of fusion cells with power left in them. that would stop you from shooting entirely until you get more fusion cells.

    Hey a bit confused here, where are "energy cells" from? Are you just calling regular fusion cells "energy cells" or does this add a new ammo type here? How are you editing the function/usage of fusion cells only for the musket and nothing else without creating new ammo? Just a bit confused. Thanks so much!

      I was just referring to all energy ammo types. And the laser musket is still using the same ammo as the lasergun. It just doesn't consume 1 per shot, it now consumes 1 per reload.

      I guess my question is how did you manage to make it so only the musket does this w/ the ammo and not the other energy weapons?

      I didn't. I stated that "all" of the Fusion Cells have health now. But how much is dependent on which gun you have and which mods you're using.

      So the Laserguns will have 30 shots by default and adjust depending on which attachments you use.

      yes, it'll take me a little bit bc I have to make a whole youtube channel for it lol but in the meantime, the beam looks like it does in the screenshot and the player character is cranking the whole time you're firing, like an old school Gatling gun or the automatic legendary. It's pretty dope. But you'll be able to download it and try it out faster than I can get the video up.

      If I'm cranking the whole time, is it like a direct single beam or like from a gattling laser?

    Automatic laser muskets are pretty rare, but I managed to get one on my current playthrough. Too bad I'm not much of a fan of them, lol.

      Lol you might like the continuous beam more, it's a whole lot more satisfying. But maybe that's just cuz it's what I always wanted it to do lol
