Eight Companions, by LoneWanderer1987, places eight custom companions throughout the Commonwealth. Although not as developed as Darlene, Ellen, or Heather, they have unique voices and dialog, and are statistically comparable to other companions, so at minimum, they are a step above common settlers. I did find some issues with three of the companions, however, and with LoneWanderer1987's blessing, I'm addressing them with this patch, as follows:
Unlike the other six companions in the mod, Jean and Jaime lack the "bAllowMove" property in their NPC (Actor) records and, therefore, cannot be moved between settlements while in workshop mode. Eight Companions Adjusted corrects this apparent oversight.
Kyle's default location within the Castle's walls allows him to engage the mirelurks before the player character enters, which can interfere with the attack strategy selected during the "Taking Independence" quest. Eight Companions Adjusted moves him to the diner where you meet up with Preston and the other Minutemen in preparation for reclaiming the Castle. Recruit him there and bring him along for the fight!
Compatibility Since this mod only tweaks the Eight Companions mod, it should not conflict with anything that doesn't conflict with Eight Companions.
