There are several mods of this type so I tried this one first and it definitely works for me. The game kept giving me Zimonja so I grabbed this and tried it and lo and behold, it gave me the option to choose from a list so I chose Taffington. After clearing Taffington, the guy for the "Concierge" quest (I forget his name) eventually showed up and the standard Mercer radiant quests began. I'm also using the Next-Gen update so it appears to work fine with it.
P.A.M gave me Hangmans Alley for the Mercer location (face-palm). Hangmans and Red Rocket are the worst settlements for causing the pipboy Zero bug, and I avoid their workbenches like the plague. Didn't want to go back to an earlier save to re-roll the quest location.
Thanks for this mod. Worked perfectly. Chose Murkwater Construction site, instead. Far out of the way, where I'll never visit, and therefore no constant Zero bugs. Runaway Synths prefer swamps anyway... so I've heard.
Hopefully not, but I don't know. I don't actually have the next-gen version of the game to test, but there's apparently a bug (was a bug?) that means any mod that modifies NPCs is incompatible. Feel free to test it and report back!
I do, but I'm sure it has too many mods enabled to be useful to anyone but me! On the plus side, I've just spoken to somebody else and confirmed I made a mistake with regard to the bug in the NG version of the game. So this mod should actually work fine :)
