This is exactly what I've been looking for! I hated how colorful the factories in Fallout 4 were, especially since factories in the past two games were always near colorless.

For those trying to get this to work with the newer versions of Snap 'N Build: SNB now uses BA2 archives for its assets. To get the textures from this mod to show, you will need BAE (Bethesda Archive Extractor - Found here on the Nexus) and the Archive2 tool found in your tools folder under your main Fallout 4 directory.

    1. Use BAE to extract SNB's "Snap'n Build - Textures.BA2" to somewhere you can work on it (i.e. the desktop)
    2. Once you have extracted the archive, navigate to its Industrial folder (Textures/snb/Industrial)
    3. Drag and drop the four .dds files from this mod to SNB's Industrial folder. Accept the overwrite.
    4. Open the Archive2 tool, and open its Archive Dropdown. Go to settings. Under Format, select "DDS" then click OK.
    5. Drag and drop the entire Textures folder from SNB you just edited into Archive2's window.
    6. Go to file, Save As, and name it exactly as it was before (Snap'n Build - Textures). Save it.
    7. Close Archive2. Take your new SNB BA2 you just created and drop it into your FO4's Data folder. It will ask you overwrite the existing Snap'N Build - Textures.BA2, accept the overwrite. (Backup the original if you'd like beforehand)
    8. Test your work in-game, and enjoy Junnari's awesome textures.

Yes, this is announced in the Snap 'n Build description. As custom meshes cannot yet have navmesh, the NPC's cannot use them. There likely won't be fix to this issue until the GECK is released.

I don't personally use the doors too much in my settlements, so didn't really care that much about making replacement for it, I can add it later on though.

Added, it's bit lighter than the rest of structures, but should be more suitable than the original.

*Face Palm* Why do so many modders expect anyone to download a texture/gfx mod without comparison screenshots in game?

If you are not proud enough of your mod to show us how much better it really looks why should I care?

While I would normally absolutely agree with this sentiment (more often than not it's hard for me to remember exactly what something looks like), I think this one works just fine as is. It states in the description that it's paired best with Snap n Build, and a quick click over to there offers lots of shots of these terrible walkways. I actually remembered them quite clearly from the game. Clicky.

Mostly because I wasn't really expecting that someone would need pic of the vanilla ones to see the difference, especially when I made it mainly as personal mod that I just thought to share with those who might share my opinion that the vanilla ones look out of place. But thanks for pointing this out, I might take that to account in future mods.

Yeh but comparison shots are still really important as is NMM "support".

I do worry when people say "was too lazy" or "I was impatient" to make comparison shots or make it NMM compatible, because then you end up wondering if they also rush their work. No one here is trying to put your work down or say it's not good enough to warrant any extra screenshots.

NMM Support + comparison screens are basically essential for a successful mod. Seriously, if you spent a lot of time or even a small amount of effort on your mod - even if originally it was just a personal thing - that extra bit of effort goes a long way.

I am not being judgmental in anyway, nor do I mean any offense - my main goal as a user who tests a lot of mods on the Nexus, is for mod authors to get the best exposure for their mods. I just hope my comments benefit, because if I didn't care I wouldn't bother replying and I think AishaLove was just trying to be helpful, albeit in a blunt way.

      Cheers everyone!

      Tony.

You're welcome, got bit annoyed by having them use so brightly painted tones with little sight of wearing down in 200 years. Also, I've been trying to make my mods installable with NMM instead of manually copy-pasting them into the data folder for few days, but I've had little luck with succeeding, as there has occurred errors either whilst trying to download them or install them. But as soon as I can figure out what's the issue, I'll fix them so that it'll be easier to install them.

Just pack your files in "data" folder. So there should be data/textures/.... in your archive, not textures/....

I tried doing that first, after trying to start the loading, it simply gave me error:

      Server Unreachable: nxm://fallout4/mods/8511/files/31905

After that I tried doing the same with Textures as the main folder inside the .rar as I've been suggested that might work, but once it hadn't any better luck, I left it as the downloadable file and disabled NMM loading.

Edit: Aaaaaand for some reason without any changes to anything the version with Textures as main folder has the NMM installation working -.-

That's happening when your file is on virus testing, only manual download works then. Just wait a few minutes after uploading and it should be ok.

Nothing special is needed for NMM support, just pack the files in the correct folder structure and ideally use 7zip to compress the files.

If you get any errors, just try again a little later.

Trust me, NMM Support is something easy to apply to your files AND it will be a huge boost to endorsements because more people will want to use it.
