From what I understand about the mod, the author chose the ring slot because it is one of the very few slots that are not unequipped while wearing PA so users can have PA on and the shield too.
ah, I see. I'll put a disclaimer for that in the description then. I'll keep this up, though, for anyone, like me, who had trouble with the mod unequipping armor sets that pair nicely with it, like mjolnir armors
after testing it, It seems to stay on in power armor for me. That's no guarantee that itll do the same for everyone else, though, so i'll leave the disclaimer there
