can there be a quick one for 6.10? I need it for a modpack and I've tried updating the version of true perks already but it seems to break everything, ig 6.10 is the one designed to work with it
Good sir, I was just wondering if you could update this patch to True perks 9.4. Since your patch came out True perks have reshuffled the perk chart and your patch is broken. Just letting you know if you didn't already know.
It's on my to do list. I downloaded 9.0.2 when that released to work on it then, but I decided to wait a bit since it was an overhaul in case things got rearranged again. I have since gotten sidetracked with other projects, but I should be able to get it done relatively soon.
Just out of curiosity. What happens if I am not using the perks module from True Damage, and instead just use TruePerks? Would there still be any conflict that needs patching? Thanks.
True Damage doesn't adjust vanilla perks without its included Perks Modules.
This patch is essentially the perks from those True Damage modules with the level and SPECIAL requirements from True Perks (version 8.5). It's mainly intended to resolve conflicts with the Perk Chart. The True Damage perk modules are flagged as masters, so you should get a "missing master" warning or 2 if this is active without them.
If you're just using True Perks, you don't need this patch at all.
If you use this patch without the True Damage modules, you would likely end up with the True Damage perks or a broken perk chart, depedning on your verison of True Perks. If you're using a mod to replace the perk chart with a menu, you'd probably have the True Damage perks.
if you're using something like LevelUpMenuEx to replace the Perk Chart with a menu, you should be able to use both patches together. Just load the maim patch before this to get the True Damage perks.
if you're using the Perk Chart, the maim patch is slightly outdated and would likely break the layout as True Perks seems to have rearranged some of the requirements slightly since it was made. If the maim patch gets an update, you should be able to use both with the Perk Chart the same way as with a menu.
That said, a merged patch would absolutely be doable, but I don't use Maim; so, I wouldn't be able to test it properly.
sidenote: this patch is also outdated at this point. True Perks was updated with a bit of an overhaul, so I need to focus on making an updated version of this first. I will look into Maim and a merged patch when I get a chance.

meant to post a heads up earlier when I uploaded it, but ADHD brain kicked in. Let me know if there are any issues.

because I think your patch and that one will not work together
