i decided to just switch back to using loose files for this one since the ba2s only contained the tank truck models, so grab the latest version for loose files
Love this. A wonderfully made asset that fits perfectly into Fallout 4 while retaining its classic look, now integrated properly with this mod.
I wonder if you'll be making some compatibility patches for other mods? I haven't found any major issues, although there are some slight conflicts with Boston Emergency Services, Atomic World, and USAF Satellite Station Olivia How It Should Be. Nothing too busted, however; just some clipping with the trucks and buildings and vehicles added by those mods.
Yes, I am making compatibility patches for mods when conflicts are reported to me. I'll investigate the three mods you've mentioned. If you could grab quick snapshots of everywhere that the conflicts happen, it would help significantly towards fixing them all - specifically for Atomic World.
I think the aforementioned Atomic World conflict may have been the one you've addressed with USAF Olivia, as the two mods interact quite closely with each other, but I'll keep an eye out for any other potential conflicts.
I believe so? There are a few trucks where I disabled explosive cars to replace them, and those explosive cars might not be disabled properly if you install it mid save - if this happens, just select the car in the console and type "disable" to get rid of it. Otherwise, it should be completely safe to add or remove mid playthrough.
This looks awesome. for the sake of compatibility I'm just going get the far harbor and nuka world ones. as I have less mods for those two world spaces. but based on the images the placements you have for all them are incredible.
Edit: looking at the previews of the files it doesn't look like the far harbor and nuka world files are standalone since they don't have the model data. Would it be possible for them to include the data for more modularity?
I hadn't thought about doing so, but yes, that should be possible. It would really just be making duplicate objects with unique IDs, replacing the existing references with the new FormIDs, then removing the unneeded master requirement. I'll consider it.
However, I'd like to also mention that, more than likely, using the full version won't have any conflicts - the chance of conflicting positions happening is incredibly low. Even if it does actually happen, I can whip up a very quick patch.
Follow-up to my comment from last night: I don't think I'm going to do this. It simply doesn't seem all that worth it to, especially not when the mod's intention is for the Commonwealth to be affected, and the other two addons are just that - addons. However, I do understand that there are rare, yet valid reasons some people might genuinely want to only have this for Far Harbor and Nuka World.
If you really do want to remove the trucks from the Commonwealth for any reason - and this goes for other users of the mod as well - then download the main file, and open in in FO4Edit. Under the Worldspace section, right click on "0000003C | Commonwealth" and select remove. This will delete all Tank Trucks added to the Commonwealth, leaving only the ones from Far Harbor and Nuka World. I am well aware most people don't like to be told "do it yourself," but it's an incredibly simple edit to make from the outside compared to reworking the mod from the inside.
