I was adding a mod that changed the mag and was looking in 'data' in MO2 and was seeing what was being replaced (or not) and noticed that there isn't a ComicsAndMagazinesHighRes folder for the RobCo holotape files. I don't know if they default to the lowres if they aren't there.
I want to use yours to replace the ones from 'ComicsAndMagazines Anime ReTextures' from the HighRes folder. I can't go without your awesome works now that I've seen it.
No, it will stay as the default holotape. Makes use of the new textures but you won't notice much.
The holotape for the tape loading is part of the Pip-Boy .nif, editing it would mean incompatibility with other Pip-Boy mods. To avoid a patch hell, it was best leaving it as is.
Great looking and much needed Holotape Visual Overhaul, especially the Red Menace, Radiation King, and Vault-Tec variants! Reviewed and endorsed this awesome Holotape mod
Could it be that when installing the mod, it changes the name of some holotapes and therefore changes the language? My game is in Spanish and when installing the mod there are many holotapes that change their name to English. This could be fixed? Awesome mod anyway
That happens because it overrides the records of the holotapes that it changes, the override caries over the name which in my case it was English, it was unavoidable unfortunately. So yeah, every language will need a patch, sorry.
