Any chance of getting this ported to XB1? Would go nicely with P.A.M.S and Durable and Realistic Power Armor V2 (i use both). Tried to look for alternatives, but no luck. After reading all the comments, maybe a version with power armor collision happening only at full walk speed/sprinting. Non-PA wearing npc's flying around is hilarious, and immersive.

Whopps, looks like mod conflicts with better power armors.

The stagger when you run into someone wearing power armor can get somewhat annoying, mainly because it seems that the collision box around them seems to be very large and it can be hard to move around them without getting staggered, lol. Otherwise, it seems to be working great so far.

Yes, it is sometime "amusingly" annoying while my follower is wearing power armor.

I will try to adjust the range of collision effect, and maybe make a ignoring neutral target version later.

Yeah, a version that ignores allies would be great please.

A "hostile only" version has been added. Hope you enjoy it.

Hostiles version doesn't seem to work for me. I can't stagger anyone at all.

    >how do troops in power armour tear through tanks and enemy armour?
Gee, probably rockets or some form of AT weaponry that they can carry around in the power armour

    I AM THE WEAPON!!!
  8. If it had smaller collision i would use it in my game, annoying to get staggered when you run into a guy in power armor while you are not even that close... I'm serious when i say that this would be perfect mod for anyone playing FO4 just if you fix collision.

When I was working on a Silent Storm mod I did an estimate of Power Armour weight:
With 25 mm average Armour Thickness, coverage of 2 Square Meters (actual average male skin area is 1.8, but allow some overlap) and the base density of steel I had 400 kg for the Armour Shell itself. Estimate the same again for Servos, Power and Life Support and add Pilot weight and add Weapon payload makes a ton, more or less.
So you are in the general area of a Compact Car (my first VW Golf had 780 kg empty weight, back then).
Which means your mod should have been in the base game. Sigh. Along with the ability to walk through walls.

Concerning the "Report" about Power Armour's effect:

It is true you would need a big AMR at least, to stop this thing. Usual rifle caliber should not even make a dent, even with armour piercing.
    However...
Even the vintage 1943 Bazooka fielded a warhead capable of killing a Tiger tank. If it could get in behind it at close range, but it did happen.
Its contemporary, the Panzerschreck, could penetrate 100 to 160 mm of steel plate, depending which ammunition was used.
So we are talking 130 years later and the Chinese were unable to take down what - a squad of Power armoured soldiers?
Just of the top of my hat, give me a german Flakpanzer Gepard, with twin 35mm Autocannon (550 rpm each). Fielded since the 70s this baby would utterly ruin the day of any Power Trooper showing his face.
Based on that, I would not put it past that general to have observed and commented on an encounter with a "Three Kingdoms" - reenactment club and passed that of as a combat report.

But that would not be cool, now would it?

    Ah, by the way... endorsed.

P.S. Will your modern firearms come to the nexus?Pretty Please...

I found a hilarious bug with this. Power Armor Staggers Vertibirds. xD

So I had my follower hop into a vertibird for fast travel. It was fine on the ground, but once it took off, it was constantly being staggered and it just kept jerking to the right all the time. xD
