I'm the creator of the first mod which adds the default pre-war siren heard in the pre-war Sanctuary during the prologue. I admit my mod has flaws because my modding skills are really limited. Your one fixed all the flaws like the siren going off during regular rain or overlapping. Thanks!
I noticed that the siren is quiet at the beginning and I can hardly hear it. Then it becomes louder and fades at the end. Could you make the volume consistent?
It's perfect for my gameplay. I have a mod which makes radiation twice as dangerous in general, radstorm thunders deal twice rads. I have true stroms with a 50% ghoul horde chance and mask of the commonwealth. If you don't wear a mask during a radstorm, you die within seconds. If you stay outside during the storm for too long even with a mask on, you suck up lots of rads and the ghouls may attack you and damage your mask. So immersive!
Thanks for the file. Unfortunately the problem isn't with the audio file itself, but some audio settings which somehow make the siren quiet at the very beginning. It's like it gets louder gradually as if coming from the distance like the approaching radstorm. I hope I explained it well.
Yep it should,the patch already has it for farharbor and nuka world doesnt seem to add specific radstorms so i guess it borrows them from default weathers
I cant believe it took almost a decade for such a cool mod. This immediately became one of my permanent modlist items. It has the perfect amount of reverb to imply it is far away- an automated Civil Defense siren from prewar Massachusetts that turns on when radiation is too high. Not too loud to the player, and combined with Deadly Radstorms, it really cranks up the dread. Sounds like a Federal Thunderbolt 1000T, or maybe an ACA Allertor 125. The siren gives you enough of a warning to get inside or take some Rad-X before the radiation starts. Love it. I prefer the original over the movie version. The lower pitch is more spooky :)
Yeah to avoid the plugin limit,and like someone else said,you can just rename the esp and add "Patch" to them if you dont want to overwrite the originals
