      on the settler and the mannequin, I saw texture flaws on the legs and arms - there are black spots on the mannequin, and these body parts look crooked on the settler

      You can get James "main" outfit from Whispering Hills mod. Hopefully this one turns out to be usable as well so it can be paired with it.
