Just wanted to say that I'm loving the Rat Runner's Arsenal weapons, so many modders are trying to turn FO4 into COD, it's nice to see another person making weapon that not just fit the game's asthetic, but really lean into it.
omfg yeah i hate the "modernization" mods, dont get me wrong im a lore purist but also like please stop the MP7 was released in 2001 and the latest timeline split was 1963
(also im absolutely shitfaced for the first time in a month or so, so forgive me if my comment wasnt good, alcoholism go brrrr)
Incorrect, Zoey! There are several guns from the 80s and 90s as far back as Fallout 1 and 2. The Desert Eagle, P90, Pancor Jackhammer, and more, are lore friendly!
Though I understand your more vibe-based lore opinions! And those weapons aren't fully accurate to their real world versions (Given there is no real-world jackhammer, and the Fallout 2 P90 is 10mm).
That said, I agree with both you and OP on the "spirit" of your words, just not the letter!
Why your mods are never ba2 packed ? want to use them but they always conflitct with other animation data files. You may not know but ba2 compression reduce loading speed too Loose files is just bad.
Multiple reasons I don't compact to ba2 unless necessary. There is a ba2 limit just like how there's an esp limit. Using a ba2 for something that's only a few mb in size seems a bit ineffective. This gun also doesn't have any animation files since it just refuses vanilla ones. Though I think animation data files shouldn't really conflict unless they specifically edit the same thing. May I ask what modding manager you use?
a few more loose weapon mods but i uninstall all of them due animation messing , it would be realy good if you could optional file with ba2 packed.your mods realy good but not all of us has very good pc can handle loose files they impact loading times and performance a lot.Im willing to remove some ba2 mods if i reach limit for this mod.
a favorite weapon whenever i find it. it also makes sense to me, as I'd think the receiver would be the hardest part to manufacture, so people would take care of them, but all the other parts don't need as much manufacturing ability to work enough. doesn't have to be pretty, just put rounds down range and not blow up in my hands.
The vanilla pipe guns are actually some of the easiest to make a replacer for since they don't have any uniques or companion weapons. So long as the weapon animations are compatible with Super Mutants, since they use a lot of pipe weapons early on, you can throw one together in xEdit in like 5 minutes.

One of them even works!
Great way to expand on weaponry without added load or ba2 limit finicky.
