I have now Remade this Mod entirely and replaced the files with the newest version. It works without any other Mod and without any of the Official DLCs. If you want this mod to work with the DLCs as well, download the DLC-Files i also have uploaded here. Without them the Creatures in the DLCs will not be affected, just the Creatures that are in the Main Game as well.
It's a shame that this makes such a broad swath of enemies passive.
I just wanted flies to be passive. They have no reason to attack humans. Especially not by... uhhh, shooting their babies at them [!!!]
I appreciate mosquitos and hornets being aggressive. It's just what they're about.
I expect bears to want to take a bite out of me since the entirety of the post-apocalyptic world is their territory now [with civilization having fallen for over 200 years.]
Hey, thanks for the Comment, so, technically it would be possible to do that, but that would require a total revamp of the Mod. It would basically be a entirely different version. As far as my knowledge goes with the Modding Kit, i could modify them to basically be total cowards and always run away, that's what i could achieve, probably. But that would take a lot of time, because i would have to edit every single entity again for that, because i cant just change that value for them all at once. I dont know really how i could properly edit it to be like you would like it to be, this was my very first Modding project ever, and i still have no idea how i managed to even pull this off, so, im sorry but i probably wont be able to do a version of this that stops them from intervening in your fights. I mean, theoretically i could make it, but it would take a few hours to make this, as i would have to start from scratch, and this mod took me 5 hours of nonstop work and fiddling to make it work, so, I'm sorry but i wont be doing that.
I like the idea of passive critters initially but I think it would be even more realistic if say animals became aggro when the player attacks them. This would give creatures a chance to defend themselves if provoked. Is there a way to tweak the options to make this possible?
Hey, thanks for the Comment, this is still right in the game, the Creatures and animals are your allys, but if you attack them enough they will turn hostile again. I mean, it wont work with one hit kill things obviously, but things like deathclaws will not just stand there and take it when you smack them over and over in the face. Its just the Ally-Flag i have added. It takes a bit, but if you really want them to become hostile again just smack them enough. I have tested it, and it takes 4 Punches to make them turn hostile. It takes 1 punch to turn wandering traders hostile for example, because they are just Friends to the Player. My mod makes Animals and creatures your Ally, so it takes more. I hope this information helps.
Hey, thanks for the Reply, glad to help. I hope you have fun with my little mod here, it means a lot to me people even download it, that's something i made and people like it, that feels so amazing, to actually have made something others like and enjoy.
So, really, thanks for downloading my mod and putting your trust into it, it really means a lot to me.
Does this only make the creatures non-aggressive to the player or to the companions as well? There's not much point if they keep attacking your companions.
Hey, thanks for the Comment, so i have just tested this a bit and i can confirm, Companions are affected as well. I have taken Codsworth as a companion and run around the entire commonwealth with him, the creatures affected by my mod did not attack him, and he did also not attack them. I was chilling with a mirelurk Queen and Codsworth, so, that should answer your question.
I have installed the mod and love it, thanks. It does take some getting used to, all the radroach/mole rat jump scares and then they are just chill hehe. :)
Hey, glad you like it, yea, it is a bit strange at the start, but it just makes the game a bit more fun if you ask me. To not have to worry about the wild animals and creatures is really nice.
Its also just nice to watch them, normally you dont get to see what they really do because you normally get instantly attacked by them all, but with this you can watch what they do, and get a closer look at them.
Well, dont forget to also get the DLC-Parts, if you dont already have them, because the main file only affects Main-Game creatures, DLC ones are not affected. I even made an all-in-one pack so you only need to get a single mod instead of 3 separated ones. Because otherwise you get a bad surprise once you go to the DLC and they suddenly all attack you again.
Hey, thanks for the comment, so, i just called it complete edition because it has all the files in one mod, so you just have to download that one thing to get all 3 files. Otherwise, if you wanted the mod for the Base game and the DLCs you would need to download 3 separated things, with this it's just a single one.
Also, to be honest, i have no idea how to merge these files, I'm not a Professional Modder, not in the least, i just know how to make certain entities in the game non-hostile or hostile, that's it.
I made this just as a modification for myself at the start, but thought that maybe others would also want this, that's the only reason i even published this on here.
Don't expect the worst possible reason for things like this, not everyone knows every single thing there is, and quite frankly, I'm a dumbass, and honestly surprised that i managed to pull this mod off this well in the First place. I am not a smart or intelligent person, so making this was quite difficult for me.
Its even better, some Raider is giving you Attitude? How about a bloody Mirelurk Queen, slapping them into the next Dimension? Any creature will be your ally with this mod, they will come and fight for you if anyone attacks you while they are around. Even Deathclaws. So, no, they will not try to “Hunch” your Legs with this mod.
Hi, thanks a bunch! I am creator of Wildlife Overhaul - Less Aggressive Animals (open permissions btw). My mod has a bug where companions attack non-histosile animals. Did you manage to fix that bug? :) I have an idea how to fix while having an realistic aggro radius, but not published yet
Hey, thanks for reaching out, but sadly i dont know how that could be done. What i have done is simply add the PlayerAllyFaction to the Individual Actors in the Game files, that makes them entirely Ally's. Its that simple really to make this. If thats it what you need then great, but thats the only thing i did and know how to do without f*#@ing anything up. This was my verry first Modding thing ever, and i still have no idea what im even doing. I hope this helps in any way, but there just simply is nothing more i can say about this, so sorry if this does not help.
Agreed, neat idea in concept though, depending on the creature. And they didn't even mention radstags which are the worst as companions will chase after them, but hey I guess there's already a mod for that. Most of the buglike creatures don't make sense to be passive at all though (except maybe the roaches); they'd be probably the most aggressive.
Hey there, thanks for the comment, passive Radroaches was actually my first idea, and if you look at my profile you can find a second mod there that does exactly that. My Non-aggressive Radroaches Mod is only affecting the Radroaches, it's working with only the Vanilla Game, and just needs the Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE) to work. If you just want that, i can recommend that. But anyway, thanks for even looking at my mod, this was my second mod i ever made, and i am so bad at this stuff, so i am just glad it even works. I am very happy people even download my mod and enjoy it.

I thought you merged them again as it was before, with only one .ESP.
Ah, well...
