- IMPORTANT! The shortcut link created on your desktop may not find your FO4 game folder. To fix this, simply delete the shortcut and create a new one yourself by right-clicking FO4OE.exe and selecting 'send to' --> 'desktop'. Or simply run the EXE itself in the FO4 folder.
- Rescale button may not work until rescale slider is used. If button doesn't work, use the slider and it should work thereafter.
- Occasionally, you may have to click a button twice to see changes. If it doesn't show results instantly, it should work on the second click.
FIXED - Cursor repeatedly resetting to center if not moved while right-click held.
FIXED - Settings menu not saving. Toggling sounds and setting custom movement increments should work now.
I will be fixing the above issues ASAP. In the meantime I appreciate any testing and feedback to make improvements.
Latest Updates (01/29/16): - Added an option to toggle the buttons drop-down window with the console automatically when ' ~ ' is pressed (active by default). - Pressing Tab will fix an issue if the console becomes un-synced with the buttons window. - Made all 4 hotkeys (tab, shift, control, & right-click) use-able outside FO4 without needing to pause app. - Changed default rotation interval values. - Added grid-snap rotation! Drag cursor to the edge of the bounds for this effect. This should help line up objects with the environment. - Updated instructions menu (the ' ? ' button). Hopefully easier to get a grip on things for a new user. That is, if they read it...
Fantastic! You absolutely rock! Edit: Okay, so this is really awesome, but there are a couple of problems. Tends to get out of sync easily, like if you pause the game with escape or even open the pipboy in game. So this is problematic and the only solution then is to pause the app, except then the "paused" notification of the app is always visible on top of the running game. It is small in the top left corner, but that happens to be where my FPS gets displayed.
Not the end of the world, though I do use the FPS feedback. I lock and unlock FPS under different circumstances and I run with hotkeys for activating different ENB and Reshade presets. So it is important for me to notice if I am getting 150 fps because it means I forgot to lock my FPS and that can cause glitches in game.
The obvious solution is just to exit this app, and only run it when you really need it. Worth the hassle too because it is a really great little utility. Thanks again.
Thank you and I'm not sure. This is my only Fallout mod and it works with the keyboard and mouse entries. I could use the help on how to make it an ESP, sending it to the FO4 game folder automatically. But it still runs as a standalone.
Great mod dude! Make a silent version and maybe I will download it. I really don't want to hear that noise (especially for how much time I spend in build mode). (:
using old version, doesn't do anything at all for me, like most of these mods that allow custom object movement and scaling, not a beefy enough computer to run windowed fullscreen.
I dropped the .exe and folder into my game folder and tried to run the .exe file. Unfortunately, it tells me it can't find the game. I bought the game from Steam and the only Fallout 4 game folder I can find is the one under Documents > My Games > Fallout 4. Hopefully this is a case of, I'm just tired and not understanding what I'm supposed to do.
I put the file in steam/steamapps/common/fallout 4 /data and when i try to run it it says fo4oe has to be in the game folder. isnt that where i put it?
Yeah please, tell me what I can do to improve it and I will make the changes. I know you mentioned moving the object relative to your players position and camera angle, but I can't pull values from the game, so I can't get the player position or angle, so I don't know which axis to move the object on for it to be relative to your view. For now, it can be done by pre-positioning your view to align with the Y axis, which is the direction the object moves when you move your cursor to the top of the 'move' bounds box. Is there anything else you suggest?
Are you experienced with F4SE and similar utility coding?
Well, my mod is the only (which affects gameplay) F4SE plugin at the moment.
Then, you could team up with Rob once CK is out and make the vanilla build system (solely the tech part, not the menu blocks and whatnot), work as this current mod is trying to get it to, without a need for console. Seriously, the current system is handicapped.
TheLich, if you are telling me you can make plugins to pull console data, you and I need to do a collab. Period. There are just way too many possibilities. I could create a whole console based universal snapping system, off the top of my head. Please let me know if you are interested.

Well, how about you expand on that?
