If you didn't read the notes on the front page, please read this.
You have to do ~5 things for this to work.
- Step 1: Locate your Video folder in your Fallout 4 Game Directory (\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Video\).
- Step 2: Rename the existing file named "MainMenuLoop.bk2" to "MainMenuLoop.bk2.bak".
(If you would like to revert to the original, simply delete the "MainMenuLoop.bk2" and reset the name of the "MainMenuLoop.bk2.bak" to its original name.
- Step 3: Paste the "MainMenuLoop.bk2" file that you downloaded from this website into the aforementioned Video folder.
- Step 4: Locate your Special folder in your Fallout 4 Game Directory (\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Music\Special\).
(RECOMMENDED: Copy the ORIGINAL "mus_maintheme.wav" file to a folder of your choice OUTSIDE of the game directory for safe keeping).
- Step 5: Replace the "mus_maintheme.wav" file with the "mus_maintheme.wav" you downloaded from this website.
