Is there one for modded version cause I'm using a CC replacer mod. (Make sure to check requirement section of that mod just so you get the idea of which one to apply onto your mod in case you want to add a patch for those mods)

sorry it took so long to reply, life...

yeh they're on my to do list, they will be individually patched but will work with the CC replacer as that does not touch the lamp entries.

    AS OF VERSION [1.0] (release)

Cool mod, however as it is currently I will not continue using it for the following reasons:

Like in the original X-01 invisible flashlight remove the flashlight position is too high. It leaves a significant gap of darkness at the bottom middle of the screen in first person view.

The light gradient is also very sharp, with clear limits from areas of high light intensity to areas of lower light intensity. Adding smoother gradients would be a significant improvement. In addition, the transition from an Illuminated area to a Dark area has no light spill meaning it goes directly from lit up to "pitch black".

well i wouldn't say the gap is significant... but i will make some tweaks to it when i get some time, same with the gradients.
i was just out of time and said "good enough for now".

As for the light spill, i can improve that a little on the top and bottom but the sides are about as wide as the texture dimensions allow, higher resolutions can't fix this... it's just a vanilla limitation.

i also want to fix the alignment as i noticed recently that the light is coming from the position of the t-45 headlamp (this is the same on the x-01 light & a ton of mod PA too) it's off center and really bugs me (sorry for those that didn't notice that cause you can't unsee it lol)

TLDR i know how you feel, see what i can do ;)

fixed the position and center gradients & reshaped the texture a little to work better with the lights origin point (had to do it through the texture as i have yet to find a better solution...

Will port it myself but i'm probably going to add shadowed lighting to all the vanilla PA headlamps and some wider lamp textures too. just busy at the moment.

do you think you could bring this effect to all power armor helmets ragardless the build, they all have this super narrow annoying light effect, i like this it reminds me of car headlights on the high beam which is how it should always be.

I will look into it but if i do... it would be a new texture with a wider aspect rather than using the current hellfire X-02 texture, it wouldn't make sense for the vanilla lamps to have eye curvature.
