Classic skill books make a return to the Commonwealth!
Discover 30 skill books from previous Fallout games, with unique perks and thoughtful world placement.
Skill Books can be found in locations related to their subject matter. Look for hospitals, schools, gyms, gun shops, and so on.
Perks are balanced around the vanilla game, focusing on smaller buffs instead of major boosts. The new perks are non-intrusive and offer similar buffs to the vanilla game magazines.
So far this mod includes the following:

For mod manager installation, install the file with your mod manager and activate the mod.
To uninstall, deactivate the mod and delete the file.
For manual installation, locate your Fallout 4 Data folder and place the mods files within.
To uninstall, manually delete all of the mods files.

Q: Did you make any changes to vanilla magazines?
A: No, this mod only adds content. Existing magazines and books are not affected.
Q: Did you alter the game world when making this mod?
A: No, the only thing I did was place new skill books. No new furniture, rooms, or cells have been added to the world, and the mod has been cleaned in FO4Edit.
Q: X mod conflicts with yours, can you make a patch for it?
A: I'm happy to take a look, but no guarantees.
Q: Doesn't Wasteland Imports already add classic skill books?
A: No, their mod covers the temporary skill magazines, while my mod covers the permanent skill books. You can see all the magazines added by Wasteland Imports here.
Q: Where are the other classic skill books like Tumblers Today or Grognak?
A: They're either already in the game, or I couldn't find a place for them. However, that may change in the future.
