I fear that if you remove too much metal we'll see our deformed character inside the frames like that weird companion bug (because bethesda is that lazy with animations)

It's less that they're "lazy with animations" and more that if you purposely break the game and blame the developer you look like a dope.

i havnt had this bug at all (yet) everything is weighted to the power armor frame .nif so it shouldnt happen

I tried putting the actual body mesh in the frame on my first attempt and it even turns into that monstrosity in the editing programs.

so i think we will be waiting for ze geck before i can even attempt a real slimline PA frame with new animations and stuff.

*i assume that bug is caused by the malebody.nif failing to swap with the body mesh that lives inside the PA frame so using the enable/disable commands might fix it maybe*

No, its actually more they are Very lazy with animations, texturing and models, if something is already released as broken and get this : Flawed, and its pushed in our face, we tend to get a little snippy,
proof of this is freely available for our perusal in the base game, with no mods whatsoever.
The only thing it improves on over fo3 and nv is a slightly more interesting way of doing power armor, with a few more poly's and larger textures.
Most people just accept that animations are not exactly their strong point, but large, open world games are.
I could get into a long debate about this, but it meaningless.

I have an issue. I tried this mod, decided to wait until the GECK came out and got more fleshed out, and uninstalled it - ie, just saved, quit, and unplugged it via NMM. I go back in the game and play for another three hours, and suddenly every single PA is glitched aside from the first frame you get (the one from Concord). Its like the game can't decide whether I'm on foot or in armor - its shows the armor on me, kinda, while I'm still using the normal animations. I can't exit and I can't do anything.

Incidentally, the armor that works is the one I first used this mod on.

I like the direction of this mod and I will use it later, but for now, I need to burn it from my game. Help please?

Hmmm thats strange, i havnt had that happen before and ive taken this mod in and out of saves a few times while working on it.

It sounds like (maybe) the levelled list items are staying after you uninstalled, try waiting in game for about 3 days that might solve any Npc's which still have the armor on them.

If you where still in the frame/powerarmor when you saved and uninstalled the mod that could maybe make things go wrong but im not sure.

I will certainly look into this, i cant let people be getting stuck in my power armor :p for now i would suggest trying to revert to a save you had before installing this if thats possible.

Did you start a new game when you installed this mod or did you load an older save?

To begin with this mod would only work on a new save game, after i figured out a few things i managed to get it working on any save, but maybe i need to make a special way to uninstall it properly.

I've made headway. It turns out it was a conflict with my Power armor animation mod - I wasn't paying attention and checked ALL the options, so it was getting confused whether or not it should get me in fast and/or slow, or whether or not to show me plugging in the fusion core. sorry for the mix up.

It was fairly interesting trying to figure it out, though. Reloaded all the way back at the start before I figured it out. Since I already had the first PA when I installed the mod with the core still in it, I didn't figure it out before now.

As a matter of curiosity though, I am sometimes unable to exit my PA. I still have movement over the mouse, but all other controls are locked aside from opening the menu. I loaded an older save to work around this, but it still pops up from time to time and have to reload. I would think another animation bug, but thought I would let you know. This is a promising mod.

You've mentioned 3 NEW POWER ARMOR SETS

is that means smaller PA Height, Smaller PA Shoulders and the rest of the plates including helmets?
    I'm curious, excited

Its worth the wait and I can't wait to see this

Thanks for the update I really appreciate your work

Jkroovy, you and Niero should sit down and have a powow about this stuff:

    http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9422/?

A cybernetic wearable exoframe combined with a lighter PA frame would be incredible.

This. This is something I've been looking for since day... Well, three maybe?
Would it be possible to have the BODY of the power armor frame be invisible (or removed or whatevs), so that my character can run around (stomp around) with power armor arms and legs only?

This mod seeeeeeems like it could potentially allow us to build a power armor literally from the ground up? Not now, but like, eventually..

This was totally the first thing i wanted to mod, I wanted slim lightweight power armour and I got the VW Golf of Mechas instead lol :p

I'm halfway to rebuilding the PA frame from the ground up for the next update... but I'm stuck getting it to work with the original frames, either all pa frames end up looking like mine or you have to re-equip my frame every time you re-enter the power armour furniture.

I can get all my .nif files into the game working well though so that's promising

I reckon a lot of people might be tracking this one and I don't want to disappoint so im taking my time on the pretty huge update I'm working on... there is leather power armour on the workbench right now as well some other interesting mods :3

So I just need to get past the .nif frame-enter swapping mumbo jumbo and then I can unleash a lot of crazy armor piece's.

I hope I don't have to wait for ze GECK to get this to that stage but I might

Hello! Just tried to use the mod, but there was something wrong... I believe it's a conflicting mod issue, because the whole frame was invisible and I couldn't find the Power Framework "Part" to be Craftable.
Maybe I am not using it right...

Any Idea? Could you help me please?

      Keep up the Good work

I havnt actually tested that just yet, still busy making armors for the thing, i havnt edited the body inside the frame at all so it should euip armour and clothing the same as the original.

Will check this on my next X01 armour test

Is it possible to reduce the height of the armor so that it can fit through indoors like HUMAN SIZES?
    Thanks Great Mod!

Yes i already looked at this one, it should happen in the next update, maybe a week or so

There's the scribe power frame which is smaller but the body inside has no legs so getting the normal body into it could be interesting.

Im also trying to make a power armor frame and body that use the human skeleton instead of the power armors stretchy leg one.

Im glad you like it, there's still alot of work to do on this one but ive got high hopes for it.
