The real mod, making Piper now look all hot. With her very same pretty face version untouched. Definitely endorsed, old but great, and working - installed with MO2.
From reading on the internet, people had commented that changing the hair of a companion through console commands (however they managed that, the console-used options are grayed out on my GOG 1.10.163.0 version at least) permanently hard-sets it for them. So be sure to pick a hairstyle option you intend to stick with, before you save a game after, with the mod installed, in case the change can't be reverted anymore. Better be safe, than sorry.
My apologies if this has already been asked below, but how can I change the style of one (or all) of my companions if I am not too crazy about the one I selected? Do I have to delete the mod and reinstall it as new? Thank you for your help.
Installed the Piper only version and it works like a charm. Easy (nuclear) breezy!
Thanks for the mod, something about Piper's hair always bothered me and the whole console command routine I've seen on youtube seemed way too convoluted.
seems to be an issue with this or another mod, since its hair related...
there is an issue that has recently cropped up where during character creation it is no longer possible to select or change the female hair styles/colors. because this is the hair mod i use, i am trying to find out the base cause or if you might have some idea.
It seems unlikely to me that the issue is related to this mod. What this mod does is change the reference to the hairstyles and hairlines for the companions. The player character remains untouched, as do the individual hairstyles.
Maybe if you elaborated more on your issue we could narrow the cause down. Does the option for changing the hairstyle just not show up? Or do all the hairstyles simply look the same?
only after reinstalling the game... i had disabled and uninstalled anything having to do with hair previously without success.
i do not think it would be anything to do with body meshes or CBBE, but i have not yet tried to uninstall/reinstall mods 1 by 1 just yet, hoping to find the issue/conflict to save the tedium to the last moment.
I install it with NMM, select the hairstyles but they don't change? I want to change specifically piper, tried both versions of the mod, and nothing. I have no other npc mods installed.
still can't fix the problems this mod caused for me almost a month later now, make sure you dont ever want to change their hair again after this, even after a complete uninstall and clean reinstall it still has changed Caits hair somehow. prolly because i used my previous game saves. didn't feel like starting all over after 115 levels. I was able to get Curie back eventually with emergent tech Curie, wish I never messed with this mod and can't recommend it to anyone else in good conscious. best of luck to anyone who tries it, keep in mind its permanent. can't change Caits hair at all now, permanently stuck with the femme_fatale style. wish I knew how to mod the code myself so I could break free from this mod.
Hey, all the mod does is change the reference to the hairstyle in the respective companion form. If you have a different mod in the load order after this that makes changes to the companion, then those changes will be the one that take place. If you uninstall the mod, the changes should be reversed - not sure why you are experiencing problems there. Do you have any other companion mods installed?
I fixed this problem by uninstalling the mod "No Junk Comments" but I still can't choose any other hair. At least I was able to revert it back to normal

nothing to do with the female hair selection shows up at all, cannot even change the color, it's really weird.
