You answered your own comment. These chairs are just decorations. These chairs are notFederalistChair01.nif. These chairs are not a standalone mesh with their own name. They are just a small part of one big decoration mesh. My mod description clearly states that my mod only modifies one mesh: FederalistChair01.nif. For this reason, my mod should not change decorations. My mod has nothing to do with the decorations shown in your screenshot. Although they look the same, they are technically completely different meshes that do not affect each other.
Yes. You got it right. I knew all that when I wrote message. It was the reason of this message - to point this out and bring to your attention. So you looked at that and maybe thought about switch those texture too. Don't you want to also switch textures for this decoration chairs for consistency sake? Of course it's totally okay if you don't, I'll do it myself just for me and my playthrough. But I think it's better for the mod to be consistent and complete.
I know about it and I've seen it many times in my game. But you don't understand the principle of my work. I don't do retextures. This mod is not a retexture. It's a remesh. This is a mod for replacing a vanilla mesh with my mesh. The textures that I created were made specifically for my new mesh, and are not suitable for vanilla. Therefore, "switch those texture too" (as you suggest) is impossible. You will not be able to do this for yourself and your playthrough. For the reason that my textures are incompatible with the vanilla chair mesh. My textures are incompatible with any other model except my own, and will not work with decorations meshes. In order for my mesh and my textures created for my mesh to appear in vanilla decorations, I have to change each decorations mesh manually, "cut" the vanilla chair out of them and "insert" my chair instead. This is a huge amount of work, since in Fallout there are more than 50+ different decorations meshes that contain this chair. So it will take me a few weeks to replace all these meshes. I won't do that. I don't want to waste such a colossal amount of my time on this. I created this mod with one goal - to change the ugly look of the vanilla chair to a nicer one. But I didn't set myself the goal of reworking 50+ vanilla meshes of decorations.
Yes, I can make a dirty version. I know that 200 years have passed. 😁😁😁 I initially indicated in the description that this was a test mod to check whether it works normally in Fallout, without bugs or other errors. Since this was a test, I decided not to spend much time creating realism details. Because if it suddenly didn't work, all my efforts would be in vain. Now I know it works and I can create a more realistic version.
