After improvement of my skills in the Raider Armour and Metal Armour remesh, I had heard some of the criticisms regarding the old "Leather Armour Replacer" I decided to quickly remesh it again to fit a much cleaner and much less amateurish design than my last one.
The biggest change from this newer remesh to the older one is that I had tried to integrate more of the original armour pieces of the original like the leg armour.
The Light armour's only real change is that the chest armour only has the basic "covenant security" armour. I decided to keep it since it made the armour look more protective and the covenant security armour doesn't get used often. The left arm is evident on the player character by its elbow protection now.
The Medium armour has had the least changes other than the removal of the crotch and the leather chestpiece in exchange for a big slab of bolted plates on the piece. It looks fairly ugly but the original one was even worse I would argue. The rest of the armour layout is no different to the original barring some removal of under leather from the legs and arms.
The Heavy armour has had the biggest change, the armour now sports combat armour pieces that look quite distinct enough for people to keep, compared to its light combat armour counterpart. It also makes sense ingame-wise since the light combat armour is statistically weaker than the heavy leather armor variant. My favourite parts are the leg pieces, they integrated very well with the leather armour piece, almost like it was supposed to fit.
COMPATIBILITIES.
No incompatibilities. This armour is very modular in textures too!
Just remember that the metal slab and combat armour pieces especially the covenant security armour will affect the textures of this remesh. It's not bad per say, but the sexy dirty brown colour. Changing textures of leather armor will is perfectly compatible.
