Old Gen is version 163, the installer says 164. I suspect an oversight?

This adds the ability to unequip using the favourites menu because in Vanilla you can equip but not unequip or switch out

      Its the favorites menu.

In the base game pressing 2 or selecting 2 using the menu will equip the weapon but, if you press 2 again you will still have the weapon equipped. My mod changes that and allows you to toggle the equipped status of items.

So basically you need to have the item in your favourites menu first before you can equip and unequip it by pressing its corresponding number on the keyboard? Thanks.

Edit: Either way, it didn't work for me. I use controller and keyboard (for certain commands etc) and no matter what number I hit on keyboard, nothing happened. The only time it worked was when I unplugged the controller. I'm on NG version with all the requirements installed correctly, so I guess this mod isn't for me.

      Thanks anyway.

If you use Buffout4 or Buffout4 NG, it has an integrated input switch that fixes this (enable by changing false to true in the ini located in the F4SE folder).  Also, there is a solo Input switch mod which would do the same.

re "Input switch mod", do you mean "autoswitch"?  it doesn't work [for me and others by comments] for ng?  or are you referring to something else?  i really want what "autoswitch" did, especially being able to use the mouse and gamepad without having to unplug controller.

and to add another "dumb question",  you say "using the same key", so does that mean it can be hot keyed to a key other than the favourites keys?

if it is at all possible to make this for Starfield, please please do, this mod is amazing for something so simple that should have been in the base game (cause it was a thing in 3? and Skyrim). Please and thank you for the magnificent mod.

It is possible but I don't own Starfield and don't plan on owning it for a while. Ask a Starfield modder (maybe PowerOfThree?) to port the mod. All the source code is available on GitHub.

The GitHub link is on this description page at the bottom "Source Code". I will ask a fellow modder to port this mod to Starfield.

Skin mod is a merged version of Hooper and Tobe face textures + Valkyr Skin Textures which I cannot share because of copyright. The face preset is a custom face preset which I created myself.
