I know your comment is old so you've probably tried already, but yes these mods play very well with each other. Though the visual quality varies massively, it adds so much functional variety.
Turning the 10mm pistol into a rifle (this mod) chambered in .44 with a laser sight and spiked compensator (dak's) is spectacular.
Having revolvers chambered in both .38 (dak's) and microfusion cells (this mod) is reasonably high damage per shot with conveniently common ammo and makes Gunslinger extremely OP.
A super shotgun (this mod) with a scope, choke and bruiser grip (dak's) is extremely satisfying. Try adding this https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/66137 to a kneecapper variant for Deathclaw-gimping fun.
Try this for similar vibes with the submachinegun https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/52951
Also, for further variety, consider this https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/69051 It adds 5mm rechamber options to the "assault rifle". Combined with all the parts from this mod and dak's, you can make a unique 5mm machinegun which puts some serious stopping power behind your 5mm ammo without needing to spec into Heavy Gunner (because I don't think the minigun is that great tbh)
Last but by no means least, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15139 for truly unique guns.
With all these mods running, you will never build the same gun twice. Some meshes might not fit together visually, but that's just trial and error. Have fun :)
Dak's attachment pak, although this mod still has some nice attachments, most are cursed. I just took the weapon mods from this I liked and merged them with dak's and a couple of micalov's attachments and aarp. Very happy with what I got.
It's a shame this mod isn't updated in 5 years. But I really like the looks of some of these weapon mods, especially that 10mm rifle.
The vanilla 10mm pistol looks bulky (more like a revolver), and unwieldy (due to its recoil; but surprisingly, it has less recoil as an automatic pistol, and it's better than most other mod-added automatic pistols in that respect). But as a 10mm auto rifle, it looks perfect (as seen in the screenshot)!
Open Fo4edit, delete everything in constructable objects, item modifications, misc items besides super barrel. Unpack ba2 with bae, take only the super shotgun from meshes and textures. Repack with ck. That's what I did lol
Anyone know if this mod still works or not? I've re-installed it, downloaded the IllusiveMan196 fix, messed with ini's including adding the lines mentioned at the bottom of the description, I've ran Bethini, made sure there weren't any other nexus mods that would conflict with it, and all the weapon modifications from this mod are STILL invisible. This mod has always been a must have for me and it's never given me this issue before, so if anyone knows a fix I appreciate it.
