works great! thanks! Just need to pay attention to what version youre dling. A friend of mine didnt pay attention and it took me him awhile to figure out why it wasnt working.
I must have given my companion shoes and forced her to wear them using the console commands. They were not showing up in her inventory. After installing this, they showed up! I could have used "inv" with console command, but it wouldn't show which shoes were equipped. So this mod is great for me!
In my opinion, the mod is absolutely required. However, it seems to deactivate the TAB button for exiting, I can only exit the trading menu by clicking on TAB)Exit. I use the non-next gen version.
I love this mod, but it has one drawback. After a while NPCs started respawning and wearing multiple outfits. Stacking the outfits on top of each other, trying to replace their hidden outfit that does not exist anymore. This mod is a great idea that is badly needed in game, but this problem eventually results in most NPCs being naked after you keep removing their outfit manufacturing business. I disabled the mod and it took quite a while for the NPCs to go back to normal. Thank You for making and sharing your mod. Please look at this problem and see if you can fix this problem.
This mod just overwrites the if condition in the code that prevents equipped outfits from getting added to the inventory list for the UI (ContainerMenu). Unfortunately I don't know how this issue could caused by the mod. The actual equipped state of items and NPC inventory content aren't affected by the patch.
Thank you for your quick response. I'm not a modder, but what seems to be happening is that the NPCs keep looking for their hidden outfits, which they don't find so they spawn a new one over and over again. This behavior may be coming from their AI or Bethesda witchcraft. Like I said, I'm not a modder, just a guesser. Thank You!
I think the issue should only present itself when an NPC has an empty inventory with nothing equipped. I suggest using https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/34982?tab=files&file_id=142179&nmm=1 to remedy this.
If no one else is experiencing this behavior, I'll just write this off as a conflict within my load-order. Thank you LarannKiar for sharing this. Loved it for the short time I used it. I really do wish I could continue using it.
This mod should be a hard requirement for the game lol. I don't understand why this feature wasn't in the game by default. It was so awkward to wear armor without clothes on lol.
