SOOOO much better than the original synth armor, which I've never used and always just sold or ignored! You could even go so far as to say the base game is not actually lore friendly because they made the Institute impossibly inept with their weak weapon and armor design ;)
Any other time I would agree I love as much diversity and variation as possible in my game but I absolutely can not stand the vanilla synth armor! lmao
Diversity is good but nothing compared to this armor combat design. Imagine all of the synth is in uniform row trying to invade the commonwealth. Remind me of clone war.
It can't be done at this point (as far as I know) because the synths use LL for every body part and this armor is a full one; it turns out invisible on synths when equipped. If the armor were divided into parts it would work but that's beyond my skill.
Because they use LL for every body part. I have no idea why outfitting them with one complete outfit doesn't work, though. A little bit of a mystery atm, as so much with this engine is. Is it complicated dividing the armor into parts?
It is not that a single piece is an issue though. The issue is that it uses the full body (part 33 I think) which I believe makes it incompatible with most synths. So simply distributing it will never work. I am creating a patch for my mod and I solved it by making a synth compatible model and make synths use a synth specific armor addon with this compatible model. So synth race will use their own version while human/ghouls use the default. This is also how they make it work for the synth uniform.
As of now not yet, I was following up on Rantan mod on the previous post but think he still need some time to settle some things before publish it again.

I know the mod has been ported to Xbox which I'm on, is there a reason it can't be altered at the armor workbench or that the combined stats of the helmet and armor are kinda low
Discovered your AMAZING mods looking for a cool western Bounty Hunter look and found your Bounty Hunter mod and instantly became a huge fan of all your mods! I love being able to interchange hats and uniforms for even more options and even some other uniform items I am able to mix with yours which is just an added bonus. I am using the updated game version but for some reason am unable to change the color of the armor. I can only change the helmet color. The armor does not show up in the armor workbench menu.
It's not that, the Clean and flat settlements bury it since it is a mod that is very high on the ground, I say everything so that it is known, it is not to discuss anything

At the Moment the Synths Armor can’t be distributed to them.
Courser Armor I was able to let them spawn with it, cause Coursers use a one piece „Outfit“.
Synths use single Armor parts and I can’t split up this Mod-Armor here into single parts.
