From the overwhelming amount of Questions about whether or not this mod works with "Settlers" or "X NPC type" or "Settlements with "X" amount of settlers. Etc. I am making this comment and pinning it to the top of the comments tab.

THIS MOD AFFECTS ANY AND ALL NPCs!!! THIS MOD WILL HELP FIX NPCs THAT STAND STILL AROUND SETTLEMENTS, BUT WILL NOT COMPLETELY FIX ANY NPC PROBLEMS BECAUSE OF BETHESDA JANK! THAT MUCH IS BEYOND MY CONTROL! BUT THIS MOD IS A HUUUUGGGEEEE HELP FOR THOSE KINDS OF PROBLEMS!!!

THIS IS ALSO SAFE TO ADD, REMOVE, AND CHANGE VERSIONS WHENEVER YOU WANT! NO COMPLICATIONS!!! JUST MAKE SURE YOU ONLY HAVE ONE (1) VERSION ACTIVE AT ANY TIME!!!

No. Download different file versions, depending on what you want. You can easily swap them out whenever you want though.

Hi, excited to try out the mod. I wanted to ask if this is safe to uninstall?

(Edit: saw a comment below that said this was safe to uninstall, thank you)

Finally a mod that fix npc, they finally moves instead of being dumb. All that's left is to tweak “Real.AI” for a satisfying combo.

I read the description and your fixed comment, my hope is that this mod will improve the behavior of the NPCs, it's too annoying to deal with Bethesda's bugs and their 70's NPCs.

I love managing settlements and would like NPCs to behave more naturally, however, I can't find anything satisfactory that does this, I'm on the verge of doing something about it myself.

I saw the videos of the REAL.AI mod and was impressed by the author's work, from what I understand this mod makes battles much more realistic than the game provides.

I would like a mod that does the same with the social side of NPCs, social interactions in settlements and large cities.

In any case, I'm going to try out your mod and see if their behavior improves, or at least if it fixes the annoying bugs that Bethesda's programmers left in the game.

Realistic Conversations Fallout 4 is easily the best mod out there for AI social interactions. Beyond that most AI mods are almost always just combat. But if you wanted to go beyond that, you would definitely need a new mod to be made. Something that like adds at least a 1,000 plus dialogue for NPCs. And then code them into the general settlers routines. No one messes with NPCs enough for it to be a requested enough for serious modders to try making. I know I could never do anything like that on my own, that's for sure. But I'm sure there is some team of modders out there that could and would do it if the demand was high enough.

I didn't know about this mod, it seems to be an underrated mod (we only go for the most famous ones...), thanks for the recommendation, I'll try it out for sure.

Your mod seems to have changed the behavior of the NPCs, I don't see them standing still anymore, it's already done more than all the mods I've installed to change their behavior, it's already worth the endorsement!

What I find incredible is that you don't use scripts, showing that it's possible to make significant changes without overloading your PC with logs and scripts.

Congratulations on the mod and thanks for the reply!

The social aspect of the NPCs is the biggest flaw in this game, I'd say - they all look like they've just come out of Woodstock.
They could have paid more attention to the NPCs.
But it's Bethesda being Bethesda. =.=”

Same! I've paired it with Real.AI for added effect and have enemies coming at me from all over. Love it.

I did not notice that. Must've misclicked when copying and pasting my mod files around. Should be fixed now. Sorry about that.

    Hey!
Could you create 32 or 48 NPCs? I'm facing performance problems with this mod, but I want to enhance the liveliness of the settlement.

Yes, just uninstall 64 version, then download the 128 version and run with that.
ONLY ONE VERSION CAN BE ACTIVE AT ANY TIME!

So this implies it's safe to remove mid-game?

@Weightaholic yes, This mod is 100% safe to remove mid-game/mid-save/mid-playthrough, or however else you want to word it. IT IS SAFE TO ADD AND REMOVE WHENEVER, WHEREVER.
