Changes alcohol prices to better reflect reality.

This mod changes alcohol prices to reflect real life prices, raising them all.

The numbers are based on brewery/distillery profits and distributer profits, meaning you get distributor prices, and vendors give you the retail markup naturally.
Summary:

  • Gwinnett Brews are 40, 45 if cold
  • Beer 35, 40 if cold
  • Whiskey 48
  • Wine 36
  • Vodka 50
  • Bourbon 48
  • The Unique Prewar Wine in the tunnels 200

Why?

When downloading Manufacturing Extended, I realized how silly it was that purified water was used to make alcohol, yet you lose a TON of value by just using the water to make it. Also, throughout the game we see raiders making profits by monopolizing alcohol which means theoretically there should be value added in producing alcohol, but Bethesda never added it because you CANT produce alcohol in the base game. This mod has no requirements but obviously it works well with mods that let you produce alcohol for that reason.

How?

Again, this mod has no requirements, but the math was done via recipes used in Manufacturing Extended (2 glass, 1 steel, 1 water, and some plant). I took the creation costs and found online average distributor profits and distillery profits to find the new price. The new prices perfectly ended up being just lower than most chems, but more than water (obviously) which is exactly where they should be.
