Just gonna be a shill and copy/paste my comment from the inspiration mod
So... Love the mod. but I am going to be THAT Guy and just say, that I am an electrician. I frequently remove a lot of old electrical equipment and the stuff that holds it up.
The reason you only get one screw out of that fan that clearly has 4 is because thats the only screw thats salvageable. Why do you only get a few wires? because the rest are degraded to the point of being a fire hazard.
Stuff deteriorates faster than you'd think. I work in a chem plant, and the stuff I pull out is less than 20 years old and almost unrecylable. with a furnace. the player is pulling this stuff out and jamming it into something else without remaking it.
so If you want immersion, than the base game is actually quite immersive as is.
If you want fun gameplay mechanics... download this mod like I am.
If its the 'Immersive Scrapping' mod being redone (as was suggested in the comments of that mod), this mod updates and rebalances the components gained from scrapping things. Scrapping a car will give various components on top of just steel, as an example.
Hey dude, I've been balls deep into fallout 4 almost 10 years late so I've seen a whole lot of mods become hella outdated and saw your comment about your frustrations on the topic, specifically regarding Immersive Scrapping from 2016.
I'm currently installing, and can't wait to see what you bring to my mod loadout! Hoping it solves my problems with farming materials haha!
Total layman here, but the question I have before downloading is - does this give me more or less scrap than default?
Dev said - "Changes the scrapping to a more immersive/logical amount"
Whose logic? My thought when I scrapped something and got four rubber was that's not a lot and I would probably need more things to get enough rubber.....but then, I don't know how much rubber I'm actually going to need, so maybe I'm wrong......anyway, if you could just say whether compared to default this mod will increase or decrease the amount of scrap, that would be helpful. Cheers,
Keep in mind a lot of settlements scraps are still untouched due to the fact they are in different categories once i finish items will look into finding the other variants of static furniture that are currently unedited Happy Scrapping!
does this mod allow people to scrap houses in sanctuary? what i'm looking for is to completely scrap all the broken houses to make them all new, and the possibility to scrap all those broken bushes etc.
and thanks for your work trickyakkilla, very much appreciated that members of the community are trying to fix that s#*! bethesda made breaking up almost ALL mods

It avoids a lot of the extra crap in Scrap Everything, so hopefully it will lead to a more stable game :D
(Since I, apparently, cannot live without being able to clean up Sanctuary entirely, and you can't do that without breaking precombines...)
