Hi all! I'm planning a small update to this patch in the next month when I have time to work on mods again. So far, here's what I have planned.
Make an additional, separate patch file that is targeted for people who only use True Perks.
Make the Penetrator perk have an effect on the Damage Threshold of Power Armor, as added by Lore Accurate Power Armor Changes, within LitR.
Modify the default AP cost values in the MCM for VAFS. My reduction to AP Drain in VAFS may not actually be in the game, as the MCM appears to have overwritten the value I modified.
VAFS AP Drain will be reduced from 30/s to 28/s (if it isn't already in my patch)
VAFS Per-Shot Cost multiplier will be reduced from 0.75 to 0.65
Overall, this will make VAFS last slightly longer than it does now, although this should make it closer to the intended balance of the original VAFS Redux mod. This is because LitR applies an additional AP penalty to ADS as well as shooting while ADS (applied both in and out of VAFS), as well as a low-AP aim wobble, making effective VAFS duration shorter and making it less useful at low AP.

I'll modify Sniper rank 1/2 to increase damage in VAFS under the same conditions, this will work to offset the VAFS damage penalty, and make the perk feel more like it did in unmodified-LitR.
Hey, so i saw that you claimed this is the most up to date patch for True Perks and VAFS Redux, but it's been quite a while now since you've posted this. Any update on when this will come out?
The newest Life in the ruins no longer have Degrade and Salvage. I don`t like that one so didn`t install it separately. Mod Organizer complains about a missing master but I have been playing with no issues.
Is that mod really required for anything? Is there any way to remove that mod as a master?
Yeah, this patch seems a bit tricky, since True Perks v9 seems to have "rolled back" many changes and added a fair bit of others. There are far too many inconsistencies to be able to do a quick ducktape.
The widget seems to not really toggle when you restart the game. You need to basically turn it off and on again on the MCM menu to make it appear again.
Edit: Nevermind, it just conflicts with immersive HUD.
You're very welcome! Perception now determines the slow factor in VAFS. 1 Perception = 20% slow time, 10 Perception = 60% slow time, although you get diminishing returns with each additional point. More info on the original VAFS Redux mod page. Also VATS Enhanced type weapon and armor effects now further increase the slow time factor, in-place of "Increased VATS Accuracy".

Edit: Just checked with 6.3, it actually works fine as none of the vats perks were changed.
