Hm, I am not too sure. The music is referenced from those xwm tracks the mod provides, so it shouldn't be possible for my sample track to play once you replace them.
Also it would be awesome if there could be a way to make enemy themes for each faction. So when you go against the Brotherhood a different track plays and so on with the rest of the factions
This is really cool idea. I looked into this and couldn't find an easy way to play the music by faction type unfortunately, but I will try to think of alternatives. :) Thanks for the suggestion!
I like this idea! I'll see if I can maybe redo this mod in a better way in the future, so you can add as many tracks as you want. For now I'd have to unfortunately have a hard limit it at least with my implementation.
I am still recovering from an illness, but once I get better I will try to add a version that allows for 5 tracks per type.
i had the stupidest idea, put serious sam 3 hero ost on the most powerful enemie kind on the game, it became a total warzone when i came up in an encounter with 4 glowing deathclaws. lol
Great mod btw, it actually gives more of an style by each enemy you find, instead on the same combat music.
This is neat. Would you update it so Legendary Enemies have their own unique tracks? I've modded my game to buff the Legendary enemies into "Badass" mini-bosses, similar to the "Borderlands" games.
Looks like that might be pretty easy to do! I only checked a couple in Fo4Edit, but they all had have the EncTypeLegendary keyword. Will let you know once I'm done (might not be until next week unfortunately).
What a great concept. Reminds me of a mod for Skyrim that lets you add up to 30 custom tracks for each region and environment, including certain combat situations. Would you consider something like that?
Would be great to add more custom tracks to areas like; Coast, Blasted Forest, Downtown, Glowing Sea, Dungeons etc. that are beyond what you can replace from the base game score (usually about two-three tracks per region, so you hear the same music a lot in vanilla).
This is really nice idea! I guess that'd be Location Theme Music!
Honestly not sure if I'd ever have time to implement it, but if I can think of a way to do it without so many edits and I have time I'll let you know.
Though that being said I'd be a little concerned about the amount of cell edits I'd have to do if I just use FO4Edit again like I did with this mod. It would mean a lot of mods (especially in my mod list) would need to be patched for the music to keep playing. Would definitely benefit from some sort of bulk patcher or some sort of script framework that adds them at run-time potentially (?).
