Update 05/06/2024: The main LL integration file has been updated to now use RobCo Patcher instead of LL Injection (thanks to Huerta for providing the ini). This will make LL updates/patches easier and will let you uninstall safely
There's no update for the Crafting-Only version, but there is a new optional RobCo Patch that will let you have both crafting and LL integration
Important: If you already downloaded the LLInjection version (v1.0), don't update/uninstall it until you start a new playthrough. I will still maintain it if bug fixes are needed, but it's archived for now
Does the CC paints work on the hoods like they do on the armor? Trying to find a leather helmet/hood thing for my armor that can also match my CC paints I use on my leather armor with... :/
Edit: downloaded the crafting only version, just to check. It has the option to apply paints at the armor workbench, but they don't seem to apply to the hoods, unfortunately.
Yeah since all the textures for the hood are custom, they won’t apply (if they did they’d look super messed up anyway due to the way models/textures interact)
Ah. Well, that's fair. Any way we could get solid colored skins to go along with the armor paints? Such as the deep blue of the minutemen one or white for the institute one? I will admit, a few can be sorta skipped over, since a few of the paints actually mesh well already with existing things, such as the gunners armor paints meshing well with the green hood or the assault gas mask and the BoS paints going well with the shadowed color already. :)
I'm sure if I had access to the paint files in a format for something like Adobe Substance painted, I could try to figure out how to just add the solid colors myself for you. I am just not familiar with xEdit or CK at all for FO4, so I wouldn't be able to add them as "paints", per se.
Unfortunately I don’t have the time right now. I also don’t use any CC content so I wouldn’t have the paints to run comparisons against anyway. But my files are all open source and xedit is pretty easy and fun to learn :) you can use GIMP or paint.net to edit or convert the textures
Thanks for making this. BitchOfWar is a total POS. His crap is not that good. He knows people only want the rebel hood. Won't make it stand alone. AWACK only. I just finished a big project and I plan on making many revenge mods to show BitchOfWar what's up. Your work is FAR better. Freaking bolts and what not. Fantastic job! Can I Make some Textures and send them to you?
Not sure what the background is on the lordofwar hate but people just make and release what they want, it can get very time consuming catering to what each person wants. Thank you for the kind words about my mod tho
You're right. I got some old beef. His work is great. your work is great. Point is I hate injected stuff and AWACK and Armorsmith. I dont like to see raiders wearing my cool gear. Your mode is Very nice. People look endlessly for a nice hood. You created the best hood in the game. I do feel bad about the LordOfWar thing. You're right, I was being a jerkface.
Cool, thanks. I have an idea for a unique NPC who wears shadowed leather armor, and an equally shadowed hood will fit right in. Don't know if I'll ever post it, but if I do, I'll be sure to let you know.
