    The next gen CC content (remnants, makeshift weapons, and halloween) arent loading
    I did all the steps, I put the CC content into a zip and installed it through vortex yet it just wont load them into the game
    how would I fix this?
    (EDIT: I dont think its loading the esl's into the game for some reason still dont know what to do)

    FO4edit is telling me that the three plugins i made a mod from are loaded lower then their suppose to and i cant move them above the other CC plugins to fix the error in FO4edit. any thoughts?

    example: Error: "ccBGSFO4046-TesCan.esl" has a lower load order than "ccFSVFO4007-Halloween.esl"

      ive since deleted said plugins, couldn't figure out why they loast their placement. i think running Archive Parcher, somehow made them loss their ESM priority and i could get them back in order.

    I just want the old CC content working with the pre-NG-update. Chinese Stealth Armor and Modular Military backpacks. Is that possible with this???

    edit:
    Just tested it, installed the Stealth Armor CC Textures.ba2 and Main.ba2 also the modular military backpack Main.ba2 and Textures.ba2
    and it doesn't work. Game loads fine but the quest for the Stealth armor does not appear and the its not at the location where you find it. Also the backpack is not added to your inventory as its supposed to.

      No, you need to buy them.
      For some reason some CC mods are packed with the fallout base installation but they come only with ba2 archives, without plugin files meaning that they wont load.

    So turns out the new CC content works, also my mods, but the pre next-gen CC content crashes my game in the main menu. Do you have any idea how can i fix it? thank youuu

      The paintjobs are crashing my game for some reason.

      These files do not come with .esl files, yet they are included in the normal download of the game from steam.
      If you own these, you should not mix pre-NG .esl plugins of pre-NG CC mods with their 'NG equivalent'.
      If you don't, the archives by themself do nothing, since they wont load without their .esl plugin file.

      I actually skipped those paint schemes which are included in the new next gen update, but im not sure about the halloween paintjobs - jack o lantern, bats, etc are those included in the halloween pack or not? Because there is no standalone file, but it can be implemented in the halloween esp.

      Yes. I enabled the CC mods one by one. Jack O lantern combat armor paintjob caused crash, then i disabled worked nicely. I just don't get it how some of the CC content causing crash and some of them doesnt

      It looks like a 'normal' problem with CC mods, try to load vanilla game with only the CC mods enabled and see if you have crashes, maybe it's an incompatibility with some other mod you may have.

      If you google creation club crashes, you get a lot of people having problems like you.
      And maybe even fixes for them, example: Fix for Pip-Boy Creation Club Paint Jobs.

      Okay thanks for the help, i will check. Do you know why Vortex sending me warnings, that the new CC conent BA2 not compatible? I enabled the ba2 backport too.

      Yes it's normal since technically they are not compatible, they become compatible using Backported Archive2 Support System.
      Adding this in the notes.

      creation club mods are not downloading properly. they are supposed to have 3 files but only one of them downloads causing the game to crash. i fixed this by finding the files online and installing them myself. not gonnapost link here as im not sure what the rules are on that.

    Why do I need to create a ZIP? And of which files? The 3 mains, or the 9 - ESL, ESP, main and textures? Halloween, Remnants and Grenade?

    The instructions are not really clear.

    And how do I install a zip file?

      You need to zip the files you want to install for an easier installation through your mod manager and to let the mod manager create correctly data info, even though zipping them is not strictly necessary as you can alternatively create an empty mod and drag'n drop the files in the empty mod in your mod manager or you can even install them manually by dropping the files in "../Fallout 4/Data" folder and then enable the plugins and the archives manually (not recommended).

      The file you may want are listed in the filelist.txt in the download section with two options based on if you already have the other CC mods (or if you are not interested in them) and the full list. Generally you can install them all anyway.

      How do you install a mod in a zip file depends on the mod manager you use, generally there should be a button like "install mod" which lets you select the zip file.

      Wait wait wait, so another manual way of installing them is to drop the CC content into the Data folder correct?
      I haven't opened fallout since it installed the update.
      I - Reverted the game using "Simple fallout 4 downgrader" suggested by Nukem's mod description in the backporter
      Then - copied the steam api and the fallout exe onto a folder elsewhere
      Then - Verified files/updated the game again
      Then - Moved the downgraded exe and api and replaced them with in the game's folder

      I should already have (and I do) the CC and NG content in my game's data folder.

      So is this mod basically a way to get the content as a mod file if you choose to not update the game and never download the files?
      I got a little confused. I mean, I'm about to find out, it will very likely break my game I figure. F4SE and the AdressLibrary having to remain on the non NG update but UFO4P needing to be updated because we are using the NG's files and what not.

      Anyhow. I thought this was a last step in the whole process but again. If this is more so for those who did not update the game, then this step is skippable persay, right?

      Correct, this is for those who used the full dowgrade method (and deleted the cc mods files) or for those who never updated in the first place.

    First up, thanks for making this - great to be able to access th new content. I am running into a problem though. Should I have to download the CC content every time I start the game up, or am I missing something here? Seems that it just isn't staying in the game after it's closed, or probably more the case is it's getting reset on start.

      The CC mods are supposed to stay.
      Are you installing the CC mods manually or using a mod manager?
      Did you follow the guide to downgrade correctly? In particular the part about manifest files and/or not letting steam auto update/repair the game.

      I never upgraded in the first place, so no downgrade necessary. I was installing the CC mods as per the instructions in the description, so unsure what is going on. It's almost like they stay for a steam session, but are gone again the following day. In other words if I log in and out of the game in one day, it's fine, but the following day after the PC has been off overnight, they're all gone again. Weird.

      It should not happen if you are using a mod manager, vortex or mo2 work best.

    Or you could just open your pre NG F04 go to Creation Club and simply buy the 3 new creations for 0 CC Points?
    Untested if it works (I keep them disabled in MO2 since crashing just after bos weapons and armor paint update). I took me while to figure the culprit why my game suddenly keeps crashing on start.

      It won't work you need the NG version to connect to the new server just like the Skyrim update before it older versions simply will not connect

      You mean Creation Club will not load? It actually loads without issues.

      On 1.10.163? Yes the creation club menu loads, you can even "buy" and download the free CC mods, but once download reaches 100% it fails.

      Not quite. I was able to download and install it no problem what's ever and it loads correctly in game. I have both When Pigs Fly and Echoes of the Past quest activated whenever i leave Vault 111. I did not test yet if  quest works 100% an what changes it's got when you have already installed the content which the Echoes include. But from my understanding this only will add Enclave soliders and Enclave workshop while making the mentioned pre NG CC content lore friendly?

      Edit I just finished When Pigs Fly without any issues so it is possible to play new CC content without updating your FO4.

    I manually downloaded all CC items ( So I could have the paid ones), then compressed em into one file and used MO2 to install. Problem is the game crashes during the intro video even though I have the BA2 support system. Any idea why it's doin this?

    Hey i followed the guide and downloaded the new creation club items as mods, but Vortex is saying that they're "incompatible mod archives," is this normal? (btw if it helps i didn't update my game whenever the NG update came out.)

      Its normal Vortex hasn't updated to recognise the new archive format yet at least not Stable there might be a Beta version I havn't checked if not there will likely be one soon. Its annoying but it can be safely ignored
