Here I will answer some questions that I feel might crop up sooner or later, consider this an FAQ section;
Fertilizer?
Yes, most if not all Ballistic Ammo requires Fertilizer to craft it. Some grenades do too. The fertilizer is considered as an alternative to GunPowder in this mod. Requires a bit of RPG-ing, but that's the best I can do without adding a completely new crafting component which would have made this mod unnecessarily complex, and possibly incompatible with some other mods.
Safe to Update/Replace Mid Game?
Yes, the mod is safe to update mid-game. The intended use of the Institute/Non-Institute Version makes use of this fact, you are supposed to start out with the regular non institute version, and then if and when you side with the institute, replace your plugin with the Institute version. Again, no scripts or anything, this way the mod is quite simple and modular, though it requires a bit of manual work. You are however free to not switch to an institute version if you decide to side with the faction, or use the institute version from the get-go, this is that modularity I mentioned earlier coming into play.
I don't like some Crafting Requirements / I don't want to be able to craft a certain Item.
You are free to edit the plugin to your liking for you personal use. If you want the requirements to be a bit more hardcore, you can change it to reflect what you feel appropriate, if you dont want to be able to craft something, just right click on it in xEdit and delete. You are however NOT allowed to publicize these changes/edits in any way shape or form. If you want something changed and have it available publicly, talk to me, or suggest it to me and I'll see if I can make it.
Thank you for adding the ammo crafting for the forced creation club ammo, despite being bolted on-to the main game, i actually really like the grenade launcher
Happy to help, I dont use the ccc personally, but figured since so many people were downloading this, there were bound to be people who would ask/were expecting to be able to craft the new ammo too. So I just went ahead and got the ccc to make a version compatible with that too.
It's not a hard requirement. You can use the mod without the NG Version just fine.
The NG version is optional, you can opt to not use the addon, even if you have the ccSBJFO4003-Grenade.esl content. You won't run into any issues, other than the obvious consequence of not being able to craft said grenades in your game.
Sorry about that. The mod only requires Nuka World and Far Harbor. I've made these changes on the nexus page. Yes it will work without Vault Tec Workshop
