Do you think its possible to create a mod that adds a Radio Recruitment beacon and a small generator for SS2 readily built into Sanctuary or Red Rocket? Kind of odd that straight out of the vault the sole survivor can manage to build an full functioning radio tower and generator. And its needed to start one of the best quest mods in the early game.
I don't do the Settlement meta game and still can very, very easily upgrade everything in the first 1/2 hour of the game once I leave the vault.

I virtually never settle at Sanctuary. I prefer Taffington Boathouse (player home only, no settlers) - which only has a Cooking Station.
With some help from Workshop Framework I can scrap all the settlements, move all that scrap to Taffington, revert ownership back to unowned at those settlements I scrapped and just get on with my life - without having to be an adult babysitter for the rest of the game. :D
