I really wanted to love this, the exteriors look great with it, sadly the interiors look uhhh, well I wouldn't be able to sneak up on anyone as I can't see a dang thing. I don't want perfect vision on interiors but with a lamp in the corner lighting less that a foot it's a bit much
Open the ENB menu in-game by pressing "End" (Or whatever you set the key to).
Go to the Shader Parameters section.
Find ENBADAPTATION.FX and look under the INTERIORS section.
Change the following values:
Adaptation Min Interior to 0.001 - Default Value is 0.015
Adaptation Max Interior to 0.001 (or adjust slightly to your preference) - Default Value is 0.035
This makes interiors less dark, but still keeps the atmosphere and a nice level of darkness.
Without these edits, it's unplayable and with this, this enb is the best enb in my opinion. I'm telling this as someone likes the dark interiors and loves using flashlights for immersion.
Strange, I have the latest version of PRC X installed and working beautifully, but when I tried to add this, my screen was just light grey, I cannot see anything unless I turn off the ENB. It seems to be working for others so it's clearly a problem with my game, maybe I changed a setting in PRC X that stops this from working, I don't know.
I did get this working in the end, I just reinstalled the PRC X Advanced preset. I think I had tweaked a setting or didn't realize that I was actually running the Regular preset instead of Advanced as I tested both. Either way, it was something on my end.
Once working I quickly realized this preset isn't for me. I do much prefer the tone mapping and overall color of the HAZ preset compared to the base PRC look. Base PRC is too orange for me, this preset feels much more balanced.
A problem I noticed, I think it might be because I have the ENB HDR Lights Fix mod installed that makes lights extremely bright on an HDR monitor, using the standard PRC preset it works fine but with this HAZ preset it seems to break the lights and they are dim and dull looking, there's no bloom or brightness to them.
I really like the DOF, I would love to use it as it's exactly how I like it. However, it does have a weird transition as it refocuses, you can visibly see a wave come across the screen as everything comes back into focus. It looks like a ripple in a pond coming towards you as everything comes back into focus, and on some textures in certain areas, it's really distracting which is a real shame because the tweaks made to the DOF look fantastic other than that. Also, there seems to be a huge amount of Chromatic Aberration, anything on the edge of the screen has a bright emerald green hue around it.
It still looks really good and I do like a few aspects of it but it's not personally for me, but a big thank you to the author for creating it and sharing.
Very nice work! Downloading PRC on its own gets me like 25% of the way I want ENB to look, while your preset gets it to at least 80%. Just a few minor tweaks for my screen and voila. Thanks for your work on this.
hi! i really loved this preset, its amazing! but i have one problem which sometimes makes my in game world goes very dark for a bit, do u have any suggestions to fix this? thanks!
Any settings to get Westek Optics to work with this? I really like it but nights are very dark - which would be perfect to use Westek night vision in, however they dont seem to play well with this preset
While using WestTek Optics at night with this ENB, instead of getting the expected night vision effect when using night vision goggles - the screen remains the same as if no night vision was being used, just with a slight green tint.
I did some digging and one of the reasons could be if the ENB has its own Image Space changes? I tried looking into if this was an easy fix but I am no expert.
I'll understand if this cannot be changed, but I do love how this ENB looks! Thanks regardless!
I really love this preset, but man are the interiors dark! I think it's more of my flashlight not working correctly. Something about this preset just changes my flashlight intensity. Other than that I'd love to keep using it.
YES! This is intentional! I know it may be too much for some players, but I just wanted to let you know it is very intentional. I love the extra feeling of dread in the dark that comes from having a weak flashlight haha!!
Is there supposes to be like a VHS effect on the screen idk if like vivid fallout is messing with it, is this just supposed to be used alone? Not sure whats wrong
