I did some slider comparisons for Psycho Classic, Psycho Pure, Rocket, & Rocket Lower Contrast.  All were taken with Special K HDR with the same save for each screenshot location.  I also have a screenshot in each set that is just the HDR without LUTs.  The Landscape slider also includes an SDR No LUT image as well.  No Reshade or ENB are present in any of the images.  Modded textures are ones I curated myself and are not from a single pack.  PureDark's Upscaler was used with DLSS 3.7 preset E and sharpening turned on.  Special K HDR was calibrated for an LG C2 TV.

I did these to try and figure out the best LUT for my mod list.  Hopefully these are of some use to anyone trying to figure out which LUT is for them.

Landscape HDR LUT Comparison (with SDR No LUT image)

    Sanctuary HDR LUT Comparison

    Corvega Night HDR LUT Comparison

Diamond City Night HDR LUT Comparison

    Goodneighbor Night HDR LUT Comparison

I see why you called it "Psycho" Lut. It's crazy how much it changes. =P
I use Pure, since the Classic was a bit harsh for my eyes and I didn't like how it affected the Pipboy menu too. I did like how much dryer the world looked.

    Thanks

for me it's too dark and too high contrast (I have a monitor without hdr) I use the PURE version. Without Psycho LUT there are too many colors.

for anyone feeling like it might be too dark. try to tweak using the  SCP. Default is SCP 1 1 1 (brightness/gamma/contrast)

Awesome.. I really want to keep it but the nights are way way too dark forcing me to flashlight which makes me go back to see the nasty Bethesda green again. I’ll give this a shot.. thanks.

Anyone know how to manually install this on a Steam Deck? Just dragging and dropping the contents of the zip to the game's Data folder doesn't do anything.

    *UPDATE*
Figured it out, lol. Had to add:

    [Archive]
    bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
    sResourceDataDirsFinal=

...to my nonexistent Fallout4Custom.ini in the annoyingly difficult to find Documents > My Games > Fallout4 folder in SteamOS. I'm a WinBro completely befuddled with Linux's file structure.

DId you drop the file Textures in the Data folder? Or did you take the contents out before droping it into the Data folder?

Also if you could copy paste the string to the .ini that would be awesome as the new file structure for SteamDeck is aweful.

Edit: I had to goto work after the post above but I figured it out. in case anyone else is wondering you drop the Texture file into the Data folder then edit the FalloutPref.ini under

      Home>Share>Steam>steamapps>377160>pfx>driv_c>users>steamuser>My Games>Fallout4

There you will find the Fallout.Prefs.ini.
I have Fallout4 in my SD card but my files are shared between local and the SD because i use CryoUtilities to get the best preformance out of my SteamDeck found here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RPAxT7HJ7Q&pp=ygUXY3J5byB1dGlsaXR5IHN0ZWFtIGRlY2s%3D

    Colorscience nerd here!

How did you make this LUT with AgX with it. How does the Fallout 4 LUT system work, how did you get something like AgX baked out.

I used Resolve (Fusion) to create a new LUT from scratch, applied an AgX DCTL node, applied some corrections, exported the LUT in the same 2D format. That's about it.

Can this be loaded in fallout 4 with no other mods? some of the file names dont look vanilla (or am i wrong?) so im wondering how without an esp this works if new file names are introduced? Thank you. LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Also in your examples is the "low contrast" the washed or am i missing something there as well? (im torn between "pure" and "low contrast" in your examples)

I tried but it doesn't have the same format and I didn't want to spend anymore time trying to figure it out. 😅

Can i use this mod with Vivid Weather. Vivid Weather has it own LUT, but the matter is which mod takes higher priority. But there is no conflict in Mod Organizer 2, and Psyco LUT dont have any esp file to manage priority. How did i know they are in a right load order ? Or these mods can't use together. Thank you.

Really good simple mod, is it possible to port this to 76? I tried looking through the BSA's but I couldn't find any lut files. That game would benefit a lot from natural colors.
